BITSAT 2027 has no single result date. Your score appears on screen as soon as you finish the test, and the score report is on the BITS admission website a few days later. Admission then comes through admit lists and waitlists in iterations; Iteration I is expected in June 2027, as on 20 June in 2026.

How to Check the BITSAT 2027 Result
- At the end of the test, the computer shows your number of correct and wrong answers and your score.
- Type your score into the test window to log out; you cannot log out without entering it correctly.
- A few days after your test, log in to the BITS admission website with your application number and password.
- Open the score report and download or print it.
What does the BITSAT score report show?
The score report gives your total correct answers, wrong answers and BITSAT score for the session you took.
How does BITS prepare the BITSAT merit list?
BITS ranks candidates on their BITSAT score, but only those who apply for admission with Class 12 marks and programme preferences and meet the 75% and 60% marks rule. If you take both sessions, your higher score counts.
Ties are broken in this order, as per the 2026 brochure:
- Higher BITSAT Mathematics score (Biology for B.Pharm, B.E. Environmental and Sustainability Engg. and M.Sc. Biological Sciences with PCB)
- Higher Physics score
- Higher Chemistry score
- Higher total positive marks in BITSAT
- Female candidate first
- Older application first
What score do I need for BITS?
The final 2026 cut-off for B.E. Computer Science was 308 at Pilani, 274 at Goa and 272 at Hyderabad, out of 390. See the BITSAT cut off page for every programme and campus.
What happens after the BITSAT 2027 result?
Taking the test is not enough: you must also apply for admission with your Class 12 marks and preferences. In 2026 this form was open from 29 April to 3 June.
- Submit the admission form with your Class 12 marks, programme and campus preferences and the fee.
- BITS announces the Iteration I admit list and waitlist; in 2026 this came on 20 June, with offers to be accepted and paid by 26 June.
- Further iterations follow; in 2026 Iterations II, III and IV came on 1, 14 and 22 July.
- Selected candidates report at their campus for document checks; in 2026 this was 28 to 30 July, with later iterations in August if seats were left.
