What is the BITSAT 2027 exam pattern?
BITSAT is a 3-hour computer-based test of 130 multiple-choice questions, with +3 for a correct answer and -1 for a wrong one, so the maximum is 390 marks.

| Part II | Chemistry | 30 |
| Part III (a) | English Proficiency | 10 |
| Part III (b) | Logical Reasoning | 20 |
| Part IV | Mathematics, or Biology for B.Pharm, B.E. Environmental and Sustainability Engg. and M.Sc. Biological Sciences | 40 |
| Total | 130 (390 marks) |
There is no time limit for each part. If you answer all 130 questions with time left, you can take 12 extra questions (three each from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology and Logical Reasoning), but you then cannot go back to change earlier answers. The test is in English only and runs in two slots a day, 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 2:00 to 5:00 PM. See the BITSAT 2027 syllabus for the chapter list.
