What does 100 percentile in CAT mean?
CAT Percentile:- In CAT exam, candidates get percentile instead of rank. A percentile means the percentage of candidates who have scored less than or equal to the candidate whose percentile is being calculated.
For example, if 100 people appear in CAT, and your scaled score is more than 98 candidates, then you get 98 percentile.
100 Percentile in CAT:- A 100 percentile does not mean that 100% candidates got marks less than the candidate. Percentile is rounded to 2 decimal points. Thus candidates with percentile between 99.995 to 99.999 all get a 100 percentile. Therefore you see that more than one candidates get 100 percentile in CAT.
