CCMN 2027 seat allotment results will be released round by round on the CCMN candidate portal, expected from June 2027. You check them by logging in with your IIT JAM 2027 registration ID and password. After an allotment you must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee, choose Freeze, Float or Slide and upload documents on time.

How to Check the CCMN 2027 Seat Allotment Result
- Open the CCMN official website on the result date of the round.
- Click the candidate login (sign-in) link for CCMN 2027.
- Enter your JAM registration ID, password and the security pin shown on screen.
- Your dashboard shows the seat allotted to you in that round, or that no seat was allotted.
- If you got a seat, pay the Seat Acceptance Fee. Only then can you download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL), submit your willingness and upload documents.
No allotment letter is sent by post. If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page.
When will the CCMN 2027 seat allotment rounds be held?
The 2027 schedule is not out. In 2026 Round 1 was declared on 12 June, about four weeks after registration opened, so the 2027 rounds are expected in this order:

What do Freeze, Float and Slide mean in CCMN?
After you pay the Seat Acceptance Fee in a regular round, you must pick one of three options online.
- Freeze: you accept the allotted seat and do not want any better choice in later rounds.
- Float: you keep the seat but want to be considered for any better choice at any institute in the next round.
- Slide: you keep the seat but want a better choice only within the same institute.
- If you are upgraded under Float or Slide, your earlier seat is released. If you are not, you keep the seat you have.
- After document verification you may also pick Surrender and Participate in Next Round: you give up the seat and are considered only for higher choices, so you can end up with no seat.
What must you do after a CCMN seat is allotted?
Every step has a deadline. Missing any of them cancels the seat and removes you from later regular rounds.
- Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (Rs 15,000, or Rs 10,000 for SC, ST and PwD in 2026).
- Submit Freeze, Float or Slide.
- Upload colour scans of your documents for online verification by the allotted institute.
- Reply to any query raised by the verifying officer through your login within the time given; no reply means the seat is treated as not reported.
- After the regular rounds, pay the Partial Admission Fee (Rs 10,000, or Rs 5,000 for SC, ST and PwD) to confirm the seat and get the Provisional Admission Letter.
- Report in person to the finally allotted institute with original documents and pay the balance fee.
How do the CCMN special rounds and National Spot Round work?
Seats left after the three regular rounds are offered in two special rounds and then a National Spot Round. Each needs fresh registration, a non-refundable registration fee and a participation fee.
- Candidates who did not register for the regular rounds, who got no seat, or who got a seat (even if they withdrew) can register, if eligible.
- If you hold an admitted seat and get a new one in a special round, the earlier seat is cancelled; if you get none, you keep it.
- The participation fee was Rs 25,000 (Rs 15,000 for SC, ST and PwD) in 2026. SAF and PAF already paid are adjusted against it.
- Physical reporting for all rounds happens only after the National Spot Round.

What are the CCMN refund rules?
Registration fees are never refunded. The SAF and PAF are refunded after a Rs 2,000 processing fee if your seat is cancelled or you withdraw, as long as you do not join the special rounds or National Spot Round.
- If you register for a special round or the National Spot Round, the SAF and PAF already paid move into that round’s participation fee instead of being refunded.
- If you do not report or do not pay the balance fee at the allotted institute on time, the fees paid are forfeited.
- Refunds start within six months after the whole counselling ends.
What documents do you need when you report to the institute?
Carry these at physical reporting (2026 list), plus one set of self-attested photocopies:
- All original documents uploaded for online verification
- Proof of payment of the SAF, PAF or participation fee
- Original migration, conduct and transfer certificates from your last institute
- Signed print of the registration form with locked choices
- Signed Provisional Seat Allotment Letter of the final seat
- Signed Online Document Verification Certificate (ODVC)
- Three recent passport-size colour photographs
PwD candidates also undergo a medical examination by the institute’s medical board.
