CCMN Cut Off 2027: 2026 Closing AIR and JAM Marks (NIT M.Sc.)

The CCMN 2027 cut off will be the closing JAM All India Rank and marks for each programme, published after every round from June 2027. Until then, the official 2026 figures are the best guide: in Round 1, M.Sc. Chemistry at NIT Tiruchirappalli closed at JAM AIR 671 (OPEN) and M.Sc. Physics at AIR 727.

Latest (5 August 2026): CCMN 2026 published its final closing scores with the National Spot Round allotment on 5 August 2026. The official report covers all six rounds. CCMN 2027 dates are not announced yet.

How to Check the CCMN 2027 Closing Scores

  1. Open the CCMN official website.
  2. Click the Closing Score link (it appears once the first round is allotted).
  3. Choose the round, institute, programme and category, or keep All to see everything.
  4. Read the Closing AIR and Closing Marks columns for your JAM paper and category.

What is the expected CCMN 2027 cut off?

These closing ranks (2026, official CCMN closing score report, Round 1, OPEN category) are the best reference for CCMN 2027.

Closing AIR is your rank in that JAM paper and closing marks are JAM marks out of 100. Your chances in 2027 depend on your IIT JAM 2027 rank, category and choice order.

How far did CCMN 2026 closing ranks move by the last round?

Closing ranks rise as seats are vacated. This table compares Round 1 with the National Spot Round (2026, official, OPEN category; closing marks in brackets).

So a rank a few hundred places beyond the Round 1 closing rank can still get a seat in the special rounds or the National Spot Round.

What do the CCMN closing AIR and closing marks mean?

  • Closing AIR: the JAM All India Rank of the last candidate given that seat in that round and category.
  • Closing marks: that candidate’s JAM marks out of 100.
  • One programme can show several rows if it admits more than one JAM paper, for example M.Sc. Atmospheric Sciences at NIT Rourkela.
  • CCMN merit uses a common percentile worked out from the JAM rank, so ranks from different JAM papers are not directly comparable.

What JAM rank is needed for M.Sc. Chemistry at NIT Trichy through CCMN?
In CCMN 2026 the OPEN closing rank for M.Sc. Chemistry at NIT Tiruchirappalli was JAM AIR 671 in Round 1 and 965 in the National Spot Round.
When will the CCMN 2027 closing scores be released?
After each round of seat allotment, starting with Round 1, expected in June 2027. They appear on the CCMN website.
Is the CCMN cut off the same as the JAM qualifying cut off?
No. The JAM qualifying cut off only decides who gets a valid score. The CCMN cut off is the closing rank for a seat, which is much tighter.
Will the CCMN 2027 cut off be the same as 2026?
Not exactly. It depends on the number of JAM 2027 candidates, the paper difficulty and the seats offered, but the 2026 figures give a good range.
