All India Rank of CMAT Result 2018 is used for admission in over 600 colleges. AICTE publishes CMAT merit list 2018 on the official website aicte-cmat.in. All India Council of Technical Education has declared CMAT Result on February 15, 2018 and date of publication of All India Merit List is February 17, 2018. Candidates can download scorecard and check merit list online at aicte-cmat.in. After the declaration of CMAT results, candidates can participate in counselling at state level, college level wherever they have applied.

CMAT Result 2018
For CMAT Result 2018, score is calculated by awarding 4 marks for correct answer, and deducting 1 mark for incorrect answer. Maximum marks that can be scored in exam is 400.

How to check CMAT Result 2018 All India Merit List?
- View the result here or open it in separate window. We suggest you open this in computer rather than mobile.
- Press Ctrl+F button which will bring down the find option on screen. There, enter your name or roll number and press enter.
- Now you can see the result roll number wise or name wise.
CMAT 2018 State Merit List
The state merit list may be published on same day as All India Merit List or in some time. It will also be a pdf file containing various details of CMAT Result 2018. Along with description of how the result was arrived at, it has all those details which all India merit list has. In addition, it will also have state of candidate and his/her email ID.
CMAT 2018 View Score Card
Candidates can download score card from the same day as merit list will be available. Usually, merit list is released first and then scorecard is launched. The scorecard should be downloaded for use in admission. It will be valid for admission session 2018-19 only.

Percentile P = ( (N- Rank of the candidate)/ N) x 100 (Where P is percentile and N is total number of candidates appeared for exam)
CMAT Result 2018 Analysis
As can be seen in the past results merit list, more than 55000 candidates appear in exam and get a rank. All test takers get a rank, even if they have negative marks. AICTE says that the purpose of CMAT is to test aspiring MBA/PGDM candidates for their aptitude towards management. The aim is not to eliminate candidates through merit ranking. Candidates seeking admission in AICTE institutes are simply ranked to facilitate admission process in AICTE institutes in India.
Last year, 594 candidates were in 99 percentile range. 2 candidates got 100 percentile. The 2 who got 100 percentile had a different score though. The highest scorer was Saras Suhane with 350 marks, next was Lagnajit Das with 329 marks.

As per analysis of the CMAT 2018 exam, it was moderate exam. Therefore some have predicted that cut offs may increase.
CMAT 2018 Toppers
The list of toppers will be updated here as soon as result is announced. You will know name of topper and his/her marks out of 400 that led to 100 percentile. If there is more than one then you will know their score and percentiles also. Last year both toppers joined JBIMS (Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies).
JBIMS Admission 2018 could either be through DTE CAP 2018 or some other process. Candidates should check JBIMS website regularly for updates.

Recently XLRI had also published XAT 2018 results. It leads to admission to 1 XAMI member institutes and 147 other colleges. Likewise CMAT Result 2018s are also used by several colleges that go into hundreds of numbers. For admission to any college, candidate has to apply for admission to that college. Or if that college is offering admission through some state or other centralized counselling, then candidate has to apply in that counselling.
CMAT Result 2018: Do not rely on FAKE result that you saw on Feb 13
On 13/02/2018, candidates reported coming across a link to check CMAT Result 2018s. They could log in to it using login credentials of Common Management Admission Test. After logging in they could see all their own data as well as marks and percentile!
But, it was very surprising that AICTE had (seemingly) announced the result at such a time. Also, there seemed something off about the results, percentiles were strange for many candidates.
Immediately AICTE was contacted by many candidates and they said that CMAT Result 2018 announced on 13/02/2018 is FAKE.
What candidates say: Many are of the opinion that there is a bug in the website and the result was leaked. However, sectional percentiles seem wrong and perhaps that would change on 15/02/2018. But overall percentile may remain same.
What AICTE says: Check CMAT Result 2018 on 15/02/2018. Result checked on 13/02/2018 is FAKE.
Editor’s note: Do not take any decision based on the CMAT Result 2018 you saw on 13/02/2018. Only rely on the actual result that comes on 15/02/2018. Only some time is left in that, so do not panic.
