The CMAT 2027 result will be declared by NTA at cmat.nta.nic.in as a scorecard with your marks out of 400 and your percentile. It is expected in February to March 2027; in 2026 the result came on 17 February, 23 days after the exam. NTA prepares no merit list for seats; institutes use the scores.

How to Check the CMAT 2027 Result
- Go to the official CMAT website.
- Click the CMAT 2027 scorecard link under Candidate Activity once the result is out.
- Enter your application number and password, and type the security pin shown (the 2026 scorecard login asked for these).
- View your scorecard and check every detail.
- Download it and keep printouts for institute applications.
What does the CMAT 2027 scorecard show?
The scorecard shows your details and your CMAT score. When the exam is held in a single shift, as in 2026, it shows your marks and the matching percentile score. If there are multiple shifts, marks are converted to NTA percentile scores.
- Name, application number, roll number and category.
- Marks obtained out of 400.
- Percentile score, calculated to 7 decimal places.
- All India Rank, based on the total score.
How are CMAT ties broken?
The bulletin ranks candidates by total score. When two candidates have the same score, the older candidate is listed first. Candidates with the same score get the same merit position, and the next position is skipped: if two candidates share merit 2, the next candidate gets merit 4.
Is there a CMAT 2027 cut off?
There is no common CMAT cut off. NTA only declares scores, and each participating institute releases its own cut-off score for its shortlist. Check the admission notice of each institute you apply to.
What happens after the CMAT 2027 result?
NTA does not run counselling. You apply separately to the institutes that accept CMAT scores. Each one shortlists by its own cut off and then holds its own rounds, which may include a group discussion and a personal interview. There is no re-evaluation or re-checking of the CMAT result, and scorecards are not posted.
