CMAT 2020 Result

CMAT 2020 Answer Key and Question Paper
The answer key as well as question papers are released in the online mode at cmat.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download CMAT 2020 answer key and question paper by entering the application number and date of birth / password.
The candidates can challenge the provisional answer keys if they are not satisfied with the answers. For challenging the answer key, the candidates are required to pay Rs 1000. After considering the errors, NTA releases the final answer key which is then used to prepare the result.
How is CMAT 2020 Result calculated?
The first and foremost thing that candidates must be aware is that CMAT 2020 Result is going to be compiled as per the answers indicated in the final answer key of CMAT 2020. For the calculation of result, the following marking scheme will be followed.
Marking Scheme of CMAT 2020
Merit list is generated on the basis of marks scored by the candidate and the overall percentile score. However, the participating institutes release their own set of cutoffs for the procedure of admission. CMAT 2020 Result Tie Breaking

- Firstly, on the basis of sectional scores in the order mentioned here the tie – breaking criteria will be applied

How to check CMAT 2020 Result?
In order to check the result candidates are provided with two options in order to login and download their scorecard by the National Testing Agency. The stepwise method to check CMAT 2020 result is mentioned below:
Step 1: Click on the link mentioned above or visit the official website and click on ‘View CMAT Result’.
Step 2: Click on one of the options available for checking the result i.e. through application number and password / date of birth.
- Option 1: Candidates can login using “Application number and Password”
- Option 2: Candidates can login using “Application number and date of birth”
Step 4: Click on the ‘Sign In’ option after entering the details.
Step 5: Download the scorecard and take a printout of the scorecard.
How to check CMAT 2020 Result if a candidate forgets login details?
National Testing Agency has provided two options to the students to check their result. However, if a candidate forgets the Application number while checking the result, following steps must be followed in order to retrieve it
Step 1: Open the login window and click on the button ‘Forgot Application Number’.
Step 2: A new window will appear where the candidate has to enter the details such as father’s name/mother’s name/date of birth.
Step 3: Submit all the details and click on the ‘Get Application Number’ button.
Step 4: After entering the details, the application number will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Jot down the application number somewhere safe and check the result.

CMAT 2020 Counselling
As different cutoffs are released by the institutes for the process of admission, there’s no common process of counselling for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). Candidates who clear the exam attend the process of admission on the basis of cutoffs released and their marks and percentile score in the examination. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for the students who want to take admission in management programme. CMAT is a computer – based test and is conducted at national level. The test takes place to test the basic aptitude of the candidates.
