- Click the “Rank Card of DCECE (PE/PM/PMM)” link for 2027.
- On the next page, click View / Download Rank Card for your group: PE, PM or PMM.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth.
- Download the rank card and keep printouts for counselling.
How is the DCECE merit list made?
BCECEB ranks candidates by their total marks in each group’s paper and makes separate category-wise merit lists for PE, PM and PMM. Seats are then filled from these lists by rank and choice.

Reservation for Bihar residents in 2026 was SC 16%, ST 1%, EBC 18%, BC 12%, reserved category girls 3% and EWS 10%, with 40% unreserved.
What is the expected DCECE 2027 cut off?
DCECE has no fixed qualifying mark, so the closing rank of each college and branch in counselling works as the cut off. These are the 2026 closing ranks at Government Polytechnic Patna-7 after the first and second PE rounds (official BCECEB opening and closing rank list); the UR column is the overall rank and the other columns are category ranks.

How does DCECE counselling work?
Counselling is online on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, with separate rounds for PE and for PM and PMM. You log in to the group’s counselling portal with your Registration Number and password.
- Fill your choices of colleges and branches in order of preference. Choice filling is allowed only once.
- Lock your choices with the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.
- Check the seat allotment result and download the provisional allotment order.
- Choose whether to upgrade in the next round, then report to the given reporting or nodal centre with original documents for verification.
- Pass the medical check and take admission at the allotted institute by the given date.
In 2026, PE counselling had two rounds and two mop-up rounds, the last allotment on 9 September 2026. PM and PMM had two rounds, the last on 31 August 2026.
Which documents are needed for DCECE counselling?
- Class 10 pass certificate, marksheet and admit card
- Class 12 pass certificate, marksheet and admit card (PM courses)
- Rank card and the confirmation page of your online application
- Bihar permanent residence certificate, or the parent’s employment certificate if you qualify that way
- Caste certificate, or income and asset certificate for EWS
- Character certificate and school or college leaving certificate
- Aadhaar card and photographs
- Disability or servicemen quota certificate, if you claim it
- Migration certificate within two months if you passed from a board other than BSEB
