Compilation of DCECE 2020 Result
The result for DCECE is compiled in the following way:
Determination of scores: The marks for DCECE 2020 are calculated according to the marking scheme specified by the official authority. The total marks secured by the candidates are displayed in the rank card.
DCECE 2020 Merit List: Along with the rank card, BCECEB also releases the merit list on the official website. The merit list is released in the pdf format. Bihar Polytechnic 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria
If in case two or more candidates obtain same marks in Bihar Polytechnic 2020, then the following tie-breaking criteria is followed.
For PE / PPE
- First of all, the marks in Mathematics are taken into account. The candidates with higher marks are included in the merit list
- If the tie still exists, then the marks in Physics are considered
- In there is still a tie, then the date of birth of the candidates are considered and the candidate older in age is given preference
For PM – Dental
- First of all, marks of Biology will be considered
- If the tie is still there, then the marks in Chemistry are taken into account
- If the tie still persists then, the candidate older in age is given preference
For PM – Intermediate
- First of all, marks in General Science are considered
- If there is still a tie, then the marks of Quantitative Aptitude are considered
- In case of still a tie, the candidate older in age is given preference

About DCECE 2020
DCECE is a state level entrance examination. It stands for Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination. The exam is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).
