Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) Karnataka

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts the PGCET for admission MBA / MCA / M.E. / M. Tech. / M. Arch courses. Candidates from any state can apply for this entrance test. Those who qualify GATE are exempted from appearing in the entrance exam but have to apply along with the other candidates.

Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET)

It is a state level entrance exam that Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK) conducts. The entrance exam is for admission into ME / M.Tech. / M.Pharmacy / M.Arch and Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) courses. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have separate CETs namely Telangana PGECET and Andhra Pradesh PGECET. The entrance tests take place in both states. TS PGECET 2018 is scheduled to be held on May 28, 2018.

VITMEE is VIT Master’s Entrance Examination which is conducted annually by VIT University. It is a University level entrance test. If you want to pursue M.Tech or MCA courses offered by the VIT University campuses situated in Vellore & Chennai need to appear for the VITMEE 2018 exam.


SRM Graduate Engineering Test 2018 (SRMGEET) is conducted by Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University for the candidates seeking admission in the various M.Tech courses. It is a common entrance exam for both SRM University and SRM University Haryana. Candidates with valid GATE score will also be considered for admission in M.Tech courses.


Manipal University conducts MU Online Entrance Test for candidates who seek admission to M.Tech programmes. It is one of the most prestigious universities having various campuses around India.

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)

Central University Exam 2018 is conducted for admission in various UG, PG and Research Programmes. Ten Central Universities of Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics jointly conduct Common Entrance Test for admission. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on April 28 & 29, 2018.

Amrita University M.Tech Admission

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University is conducting Amrita Graduate Entrance Test (AGET) from May 11 to 13, 2018 in online mode. The candidates seeking admission in M.Tech courses offered across its three campuses located in Coimbatore, Amritapuri, and Bengaluru must appear for the entrance test. However, the University offers M.Tech admission to both GATE and non-GATE candidates. GATE qualified candidates can get direct admission to the programmes based on their valid GATE Score.
