IIT Kanpur issues GATE Admit Card 2023 before the exam date. Only those who submitted GATE application form on time get it. The admit card of GATE indicates the exam center, time, exam day guidelines, dress code, and more. All candidates appearing in GATE exam for admission to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts; and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science must download it before exam date.

How to Download GATE Admit Card 2023?
students, who applied for GATE exam can easily download GATE hall ticket on computer or mobile with following steps.
Step-1: Go to gate.iitk.ac.in.
Step-2: Locate GATE 2023 admit card download link, or GATE 2023 login.
Step-3: Now enter Enrolment ID, Password as per GATE application form for login details.
Step-4: After logging into gate.iitk.ac.in login portal, click GATE hall ticket download link.
Step-5: Download GATE exam admit card and print it.
Printing instructions for GATE admit card 2023: Candidates must print the Admit Card on A4 sized paper using a laser printer in color.
After downloading GATE Admit Card 2023
Do the following after you have downloaded the admit card
- Keep soft copy and multiple hard copies (printouts) of the GATE admit card. Keep them till declaration of GATE 2023 result.
- Check the exam date and time in GATE 2023 admit card. This is the final timing so decide your travel plan and set your alarms as per it.
- Know what to take to exam center. Check your admit card of GATE 2023 instructions section for this.
- Check the GATE 2023 exam center. Then find the center using google maps. Also try to visit the center a day before Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam so you know exactly how to reach it.

What to take to exam center:
- GATE 2023 admit card printout
- original and valid photo Identity Document (NO photocopy / scanned copy / an expired document), which was specified during the filling up of the online application (for example: Aadhaar-UID, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID and Driving License)
Note – Photograph and signature images in GATE 2023 admit card should be clear and legible. The photograph on the Admit Card and that in the valid photo identity document SHOULD match with the appearance of the candidate on the day of examination.
