In a recent notice, the board announced that GUJCET 2020 will be held on July 30, 2020, and hall ticket will be out 10 days before the exam date. GUJCET 2020 Admit Card Release Date Announced
GSEB has notified on the official website, gujcet.gsebht.in, that GUJCET 2020 hall ticket will be out 10 days before the exam. Also via an official press note, the new exam date has been declared. The new exam date of GUJCET 2020 is July 30, 2020. (read new exam date notice by GSEB)
The admit card will release 10 days before the exam, which means all registered candidates can download the GUJCET 2020 admit card from July 20, 2020.

GUJCET 2020 Admit Card Issued, But Exam Date Say March 31, 2020
The candidates who have been issued the admit card of GUJCET 2020, may note that this admit card shall not be valid. This is because the exam date printed on it says March 31, 2020. Which has been postponed. New admit cards or changes in the already issued ones might be done by the board. Please stay updated in this regard at gseb.org.

How to Download GUJCET 2020 Admit Card?
The GUJCET 2020 admit car is released in the online mode only. The candidates can check below the steps to download GUJCET 2002 admit card:
Step 1 – The first step is to click on the link to download admit card, the same is given on this page.
Step 2 – On clicking the link candidates can check a new window, this is the login window.
Step 3 – Now students have to login for which they need below combination of details:
- Combination 1: Registered Mobile no and date of birth, or
- Combination 2: Registered Mobile no and GUJCET application number, or
- Combination 3: Registered email id and date of birth, or
- Combination 4: Registered email id and GUJCET application number
Step 4 – After entering all of these details, the candidates need to enter the displayed captcha. It can be number, alphabets or combination of both.
Step 5 – Lastly, click on the grey “Search Hall Ticket”.
Step 6: Download the hall ticket in the local system and take 2 or 3 prints of it. On the exam day, candidates need to carry a hard copy of the hall ticket.
What to Do If There is Errors in GUJCET 2020 Admit Card?
GSEB allows the candidates to contact the examination cell in case they encounter any error in their admit card. Errors in the details given below, must be immediately reported.:
- Name of the candidate
- Subjects for GUJCET
- Subjects chosen
- Signature in the application form
- Examination center and details in respect of examination hall
How to report errors?
Candidates must not make any changes in GUJCET admit card on their own. They need to fill GUJCET 2020 admit card correction form and send it to the address below.

How to Download GUJCET 2020 Admit Card, If Forgot Login Details?
In case a candidate forgets their registered email id or phone number they can check the steps below to retrieve them:
Step 1: On the login window click on the link that says “Forgot Mobile No. and Email ID? Click Here”
Step 2: On the very next page the candidates are asked to enter the below given details:
- Last name of student
- First name of student
- Middle name of student
- Captcha code.
Enter these details and click on the “Search: button
Step 3: If the record is found the registered email id and mobile number is displayed on the screen.
Important Instructions For GUJCET 2020 Admit Card
There are following steps which should be followed by every candidate before and on the day of examination and these are as follows :-
- Candidate have to sign at two places in the admit card
- Also, candidates have to take the signature of the block supervisor at the exam center as evidence of getting and submitting the question booklet and answer sheet of GUJCET 2020.
- The candidates have to seat as per the seat number mentioned on the admit card at the exam room.
- To take an entry inside the exam room candidates have to produce the admit card to the supervisor at the hall.
- The admit card must be preserved even after the exam is over and GUJCET result is declared.
What to Carry in GUJCET 2020 Exam Center
Candidates are allowed to carry only the below given items inside the exam center of GUJCET 2020:
- Printed copy of the admit card
- Simple calculator
Apart from the above given items, candidates shall not carry any other thins at the exam centre.

GUJCET 2020 Exam Pattern
GUJCET 2020 is an offline examination. Candidates have to mark answers in OMR sheet and all the questions in the exam are of MCQ type. Few crucial details about the exam are as follows:
Papers: There are 2 papers under GUJCET for Physics-Chemistry and Mathematics / Chemistry.
Time: The distribution of time is as follows:
- Duration of maths / bio paper is 120 minutes
- Candidates get 60 minutes each to solve questions on physics and chemistry.
Choice of papers: Physics-chemistry paper is mandatory for all but candidates may either appear for maths and bio or for both the papers.
Language: The question paper is only provided in Gujarati, Hindi or English languages, depending on the choice stated in the GUJCET application form by the candidates.
Marking scheme: The marking scheme is as follows:
- From each subject, 40 questions are asked.
- Each question is of 1 mark.
- For choosing incorrect answers, negative marking of 0.25 (1/4) marks is done.
- Negative marking is also applicable, if more than one answer option is circled.

About GUJCET 2020
Gujarat Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance exam. Every year, Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts the GUJCET to fill seats in degree engineering and degree diploma in pharmacy courses. The exam is of 3 hours duration and comprises of multiple-choice questions from physics, chemistry, mathematics / biology. To prepare the merit list for admission, 60% weightage is given to marks obtained in 12th examination and 40% weightage is given to the marks obtained in GUJCET.
