The GUJCET 2027 syllabus is the Class 12 Science syllabus that GSEB follows for its Higher Secondary Certificate exam, based on the reduced NCERT textbooks. What is the GUJCET 2027 syllabus based on?
GUJCET follows only the Class 12 syllabus, not Class 11. The GUJCET 2026 booklet said the NCERT-based (reduced) syllabus adopted by GSEB for Class 12 Science in 2025-26 would be the GUJCET syllabus, so GUJCET 2027 is expected to follow the 2026-27 Class 12 syllabus.

What is the GUJCET 2027 exam pattern?

All questions are multiple choice with four options. You get 1 mark for a correct answer and lose 0.25 mark for a wrong one; unanswered questions score zero.

GSEB states the syllabus in its GUJCET information booklet on gseb.org. Until the 2027 booklet is out, the 2026 booklet below is the latest official version.

How should you prepare for the GUJCET 2027 syllabus?
- Study the Class 12 NCERT or GSEB textbook chapter by chapter; GUJCET questions come from this syllabus only.
- Prepare for GUJCET and your Class 12 board exam together, since ACPC merit gives equal weight to both for engineering seats.
- Practise speed for the combined Physics and Chemistry paper: 80 questions in 120 minutes.
- Skip questions you are unsure of, because each wrong answer costs 0.25 mark.
- Solve the GUJCET previous year question papers in timed conditions on an OMR-style sheet.
