WBJEE 2027 (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is the state entrance test for B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch admission in West Bengal. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts it. WBJEE 2027 is expected in April or May 2027, with online applications in early 2027.

WBJEE 2027 Important Dates
WBJEEB has not announced the WBJEE 2027 schedule yet. In 2026 applications ran from 10 March to 8 April and the exam was held on 24 May, while the 2024 and 2025 exams were held in late April. So WBJEE 2027 is expected in April or May 2027, with the form opening between January and March.

How to Apply for WBJEE 2027
You apply for WBJEE 2027 online on the WBJEEB website once the Information Bulletin is out; there is no printed form. You register, fill in the form, upload your photo and signature, pay the fee and download the confirmation page. Keep a valid mobile number and your own email ID ready, as the Board sends all updates there.
Apply Online for WBJEE 2027
Applications for WBJEE 2027 are expected in January 2027.
- Register with your name, parents’ names, date of birth, gender, ID details, address, mobile number and email ID, and create a password. Name, parents’ names, date of birth and domicile cannot be changed later, so enter them exactly as in your Class 10 and 12 records.
- Note the application number shown on screen. It is also sent to your mobile number and email ID.
- Fill in the application: domicile, category, PwD, TFW and income details, religion, nationality and academic details. Then choose your exam zones in order of preference.
- Upload a recent colour photo (JPG, 10 to 200 KB) and your signature (JPG, 4 to 30 KB) together.
- Pay the fee by net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI or QR code.
- Download the confirmation page. Your application is complete only when this page is generated.

The fee is not refundable. After the last date, WBJEEB opens a short correction window (10 to 12 April in 2026) when you can edit details other than your name, parents’ names, date of birth and domicile.
How to log in to the WBJEE 2027 candidate portal?
The WBJEE candidate login is where you fill in and correct your form, pay the fee, download the confirmation page and admit card, view the model answer keys and your OMR responses, raise challenges and download your rank card.
- Open the official WBJEE page on wbjeeb.in. The WBJEE 2027 sign-in link will open with the 2027 registration, expected between January and March 2027; the WBJEE 2026 sign-in page is still live for 2026 rank cards.
- Click Registered Candidates Sign-In for WBJEE 2027. New candidates first register to get an application number.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Type the security pin shown on screen. It is case sensitive, and an audio version is available.
- Sign in. Your dashboard shows the application form, confirmation page, admit card, answer keys, OMR responses and rank card as each is released. Log out and close the window when you finish.
Forgot your password? Use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in page; the reset uses an OTP sent to your registered contact details. The Information Bulletin says this is the only way to recover a password. Your application number is on your confirmation page and in the SMS and email sent at registration.
Who can apply for WBJEE 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian citizen (or OCI), have passed Class 12 or are appearing in it in 2027, and are at least 17 years old by 31 December 2027. These rules are from the WBJEE 2026 Information Bulletin and may be revised for 2027.
- Age: at least 17 years as of 31 December of the exam year, with no upper limit. Marine Engineering has an upper age limit of 25 years.
- B.Tech: Class 12 with the AICTE subject combination and at least 45% (40% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B and PwD) in three subjects taken together, plus at least 30% in English.
- B.Pharm: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology with 45% (40% reserved) in the three subjects, and 30% in English.
- B.Arch: 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together and 50% in aggregate, plus a valid NATA score.
- Marine Engineering: 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together and 50% in English in Class 10 or 12.
- Domicile: all seats in government-aided colleges, 90% of general seats at Jadavpur University and every reserved or TFW seat need West Bengal domicile.
- OCI candidates can get only unreserved All-India seats.
What is the WBJEE 2027 exam pattern?
WBJEE has two pen-and-paper papers of 2 hours each on the same day: Paper I is Mathematics and Paper II is Physics and Chemistry. There are 155 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks, and you mark answers on an OMR sheet with the ballpoint pen the Board gives you.

Which ranks does WBJEE give?
WBJEE gives two merit ranks. The General Merit Rank (GMR) comes from your total in both papers and is used for all engineering, technology and architecture seats and for pharmacy at Jadavpur University. The Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) comes from Paper II only and is used for other pharmacy courses, including Pharm.D.
- Your rank card also shows category ranks (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, PwD, TFW), but seats are allotted in the order of GMR or PMR only.
- Ties are broken by fewer negative marks, then more positive marks in set subject pairs, then the older candidate.
- WBJEEB does not publish a public rank list; each candidate downloads their own rank card.
