WBJEE Model Question Papers
The purpose of WBJEE model question paper is just give candidates idea about how the questions in the exam will be. It is not a replica of the question paper and the number of questions mentioned in it is less. In reality, there are total 155 questions in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and the number of question in maths, phsysics, and chemistry is 75, 40, and 40 respectively.

Mode of the Exam: Offline, pen and paper based
Duration: 4 hours
Number of papers: 2 for –> Mathematics and Physics-Chemistry
Type of questions: Multiple choice type (MCQ)
Number of questions: 155 MCQs
Total Marks: 200 marks
Marking scheme of WBJEE 2020:
Category I – 1 mark for correct answer and deduction of 1/4 marks for wrong answer.
Category II – 2 marks for correct answer and deduction of 1/ 2 marks for incorrect answer.
Category III – 2 marks for correct answer and no negative marking for incorrect answer. In this category, there can be more than one correct answer option. Candidates have to mark both the options to get 2 marks. If only partial answer is correct then this formula will be used –> 2 x (No of correct option marks + total no of correct options).

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by WBJEE Board at state level. The exam is held for intake of candidates in UG engineering / technology and pharma courses. The admission in UG architecture is granted on the basis of NATA or JEE Main in the state, however, candidates still need to fill WBJEE form. Candidates who qualify WBJEE are called for counselling round and then final admission.
WBJEE is only conducted in offline mode. The exam has 155 questions, which are all of multiple choice type. The questions are asked from physics, chemistry, and maths syllabus of WBJEE as defined by the board.
