West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or the WBJEE is a state-level entrance test, conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). This exam is conducted for admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in West Bengal. The test is taken after the 12th grade for admission to graduation courses. WBJEE 2018 Syllabus is available now. The syllabus for WBJEE 2018 is officially prepared by the WBJEEB. WBJEE 2018 Syllabus

It’s recommended that all aspiring applicants must follow the syllabus of WBJEE 2018 and prepare a plan accordingly. By following WBJEE 2018 syllabus, the applicants will become aware of all the important topics that they have to study in terms of preparation, while at the same time they get to know what all they have to avoid. All the questions will be multiple choice questions. There will be a total of 155 questions in WBJEE 2018 exam. Candidates obtain a maximum of 200 marks. WBJEE 2018 Syllabus – Questions, Marking Scheme [Exam Pattern]

WBJEE is an entrance exam that tests the candidate’s basic knowledge in PCM group i.e Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It has three types of questions divided as category I, II, III.

The subject in itself connects the physical world around us and tries to find the reason why the things are the way they are. It covers a wide range of phenomena and is meant to critically observe the knowledge of the candidate of certain topics such as:- Physical World, Measurements, Units & Dimensions, Kinematics, Laws of motion, Motion of center of mass, Connected Systems, Friction, Thermodynamics, Oscillations & Waves etc.


The subject studies the evolution of atoms, molecules, crystals and other aggregates of matter which incorporates the concepts of energy and entropy in relation to the spontaneity of chemical processes. The topics assesses the candidate’s knowledge of the following topics; Atoms, Molecules and Chemical Arithmetic, Radioactivity and Nuclear Chemistry, Coordination Compounds, Solid State, Gaseous State, Liquid State etc.


Challenges the candidates to derive solutions asked from Algebra, Logarithms, Matrices, Permutation and combination, Statistics and Probability, Trigonometry, Coordinate geometry of two dimensions, Calculus etc.
