WBJEE Answer Key 2027: Release Date, Challenge, Score Calculation

WBJEEB will publish the WBJEE 2027 model answer keys in the candidate login a few days after the exam, expected in April or May 2027. You can challenge any key for Rs 500 per question. Final keys come out just before the result. In 2026 the model keys came on 27 May, three days after the exam.

How to Check the WBJEE 2027 Answer Key

1. Open the official WBJEE page on wbjeeb.in once the model answer key notice is out.
2. Sign in to the WBJEE 2027 candidate portal with your application number, password and security pin.
3. Open the model answer key and choose the subject and your question booklet set (A, B, C or D).
4. Compare each key with the answers in the question booklet you took home.
5. Download the keys; they stay online only for a short time.

How do I challenge the WBJEE answer key?

You can challenge any number of model answer keys online, in one session, within the window (27 to 29 May in 2026). The fee is Rs 500 per question plus any bank charges, paid by net banking, card or UPI.

• Challenges by email, letter, fax or phone are not accepted.
• A challenge is reviewed only if the fee payment succeeds.
• WBJEEB reviews all challenges and publishes the final answer keys; its decision is final. In 2026 the final keys came on 17 June.

How do I check my WBJEE OMR responses?

WBJEEB also uploads images of your OMR sheet and the machine-read responses in your login for a short period. If a response was read wrongly, you can challenge it online for Rs 500 per response. In 2026 this window ran from 12 to 14 June. Download your OMR copy and keep it safe.

How do I calculate my WBJEE score?

Match your OMR responses with the final keys and add up the marks with the WBJEE marking scheme. Your total is out of 200: Mathematics 100, Physics 50 and Chemistry 50.

In Category 3, if you mark only some of the correct options and no wrong one, you get 2 x (correct options marked) / (total correct options). If you need the Board’s own calculation sheet, apply with a Rs 500 bank draft within 60 days of the result or until counselling ends. Your score is final on the WBJEE result rank card.
