Fee Amount for WBJEE Application Form
It was mandatory for the candidates to submit application fee for WBJEE 2020. The amount of application fee for candidates belonging to different categories was as follows:

– This year the board started the application process unexpectedly before the usual time. Last time the forms were out on the month of December and this time in the month of October.
– Last time the application form were available for 28 days and this time they are available for 27 days to be exact.
Eligibility Criteria to Know Before Applying for WBJEE 2020
Before applying, candidates should know the eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2020, which is as follows:
Citizenship: Candidate should be a citizen of India and should have state residential / domicile.
Age Limit: Candidates should be above 17 years of age, as son December 31, 2020. Hence, should have been born on or before December 12, 2003.
- No upper age limit but for the candidates applying for Marine Engineering course, the upper age limit is 25 years, as son December 31, 2020.
Education Qualification: Engineering aspirants should have passed class 12 / equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects. For Pharmacy course, the core subjects should be Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology.
- Candidates should have secured 45% marks in the qualifying exam. However, the marks limit for the SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PwD candidates is 40%.
Documents Required to Fill WBJEE 2020 Application Form
While filling the application form of WBJEE 2020, the below mentioned documents and things were needed.
- A valid Email id

- Class 10th Certificate
- Class 10th Marksheet
- Class 12th marksheet and certificate
- Scanned image of candidate’s photo

WBJEE 2020 Image Specifications
Maximum applications are rejected because candidates do not upload images in prescribed format. The correct format to upload images in the form is as follows:

Note: The same photo, that will be uploaded in the WBJEE Application Form 2020, has to be carried to the exam hall (on exam day), during the counselling and final admission. Hence, it is advised that candidates produce multiple copies of it and keep it safe until the end of the admission process.

✔️ The photo shoud be taken recently and the candidate’s facial feature should be clearly visible in it.
✔️ Background of the photo should be of very light background, preferrably, white.
✔️ The face of the candidate should occupy at least 50% of the entire space of the photo looking straight at the camers.
✔️ Signature should be done in running hadnwriting only
✔️ The signature should be done by the candidate only as it shall be verified by the exam invigilator at the time of the entrance exam.
x Low quality images such as selfie picture are not acceptable
x Spectables of gard or tinted glasses are not acceptable
x Signature done in CAPITAL LETTERS
How to Scan Photograph to Upload in the WBJEE Application Form?
There are many ways by which a candidate can scan their photograph. One of the easiest way to scan the image is as follows:
Step 1: Take a photograph of size 4cm x 3cm
Step 2: Now, scan it in 300 dpi.
Step 3: Crop the scanned output page to the size of the photo and resize it to “Image Small”
Step 4: Save the scanned image and then upload it in the Application Form
It is very important to note that once WBJEE Registration is done, candidates cannot change or modify following details. So, make sure you enter these correctly.

How to Fill WBJEE 2020 Application Form?
The step by step procedure for registering and filling the application form of WBJEE 2020 is follows:
Step 1: Register Online
- Access the WBJEE 2020 registration login by clicking on the link above.
- In the next screen, students must read all the instructions very carefully and then tick on the checkbox at the bottom of the page.
- Next, the candidates have to login by entering details like their name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, email id, mobile number.
- Review the details as provided by the candidates in the registration form. If satisfied with the details in the registration form, then click on the “Final Submit” button or else click on the “Edit Registration Form” button.
- After the registration part is done, proceed to the next step which is filling in details in the Application Form.
Step 2: Fill in details in WBJEE Application Form
- Click on the “Complete Application Form” button to proceed to fill in details in the form
Step 3: Upload Images in the Application Form
The next step is to upload images in the WBJEE 2020 application form. The window to upload images is as follows and the images are to be uploaded as specified above.
Step 4: Payment of Application Fee
On completion of the above-given steps, lastly candidates need to pay the required amount of the application fee. It is to be paid by online mode only.
Step 5: Downloading of Confirmation Page
After the successful fee payment, the candidates need to download the confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference. Candidates need not send the confirmation to WBJEE Board.
Note: Candidates must keep WBJEE 2020 application form confirmation page safely until the end of admission process. It comes handy while downloading the admit card or checking the result of WBJEE 2020.

WBJEE 2020 Application Form Correction
WBJEE Board opens application form correction facility, after the lapse of application deadline. The details of correction are as follows:
If received SMS / e-mail for correction in photo or signature: WBJEE Board send sms / e-mail to some candidates regarding discrepancy in the application form of WBJEE 2020.
- In this case, candidates need to upload correct images within 1 day.

WBJEE 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for WBJEE 2020 is released in online mode only to the registered candidates. No hard copy of the WBJEE Admit Card is sent to the candidates via post. To download the admit card, candidates to log in using their application number and password. It is an important verification document which you must carry on the day of the test. On the day of the test, candidates must carry a hard copy of it, a valid id proof, a passport size photo as uploaded in the application form.
About WBJEE 2020
WBJEE is a state level entrance exam, conducted once a year, for admission of candidates in undergraduate engineering & technology, pharmacy, and architecture courses. WBJEE 2020 is due to be held on February 02, 2020. It will be held in 2 sessions, which will be from:
- 11:00 am to 1:00 pm – for Paper 1 (Mathematics)
- 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm – for Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry)
The exam is conducted in offline / pen and paper based mode. Candidates have to answer 200 multiple choice questions in the given duration. On the basis of the scores secured in the exam, merit list is prepared.
The admission in the colleges / universities of the state is done on the basis of WBJEE merit. It should be noted that in WBJEE counselling, JEE Main 2020 qualifiers can also participate.

Ans : No, the application fee is not refundable
Ans : The confirmation page is auto-generated. If the payment is received, a confirmation page will be surely made available. If not, then there might be some technical issue regarding the payment. In such a case, the candidate should make the payment again. As per rule, the failed payment is reversed by the Bank.
Ans : Candidates will have to follow the “forget password” link to get their application number back. There is no other way.
