AIIMS New Delhi will declare the INI SS January 2027 Stage I result on aiimsexams.ac.in, expected around 31 October 2026, a week after the exam expected on 24 October. You need 50 percent to qualify. AIIMS and PGIMER candidates then take Stage II, and seats are allotted online from the merit lists.

- Go to aiimsexams.ac.in, open Academic Courses and click INI-SS.
- Open the result notice for the January 2027 session.
- Check the list of qualified candidates for your course, or log in to My Page to see your marks and rank.
- If you are shortlisted for Stage II, note the instructions for the online departmental assessment.
- Save a copy of the result for seat allocation and admission.
What does the INI SS January 2027 result list show?
AIIMS issues no individual scorecard: the Stage I result is a notification with a roll number-wise list of provisionally qualified candidates for each DM and M.Ch. course.
What are the INI SS qualifying marks?
You must score at least 50 percent in Stage I (40 out of 80) to qualify INI SS. This applies to every course and there is no category-wise reservation of DM and M.Ch. seats.
- For AIIMS and PGIMER seats, you must have applied for them and scored 50 percent in Stage I.
- AIIMS calls about 3 times the AIIMS and PGIMER seats in each course (or 2 times all seats in the course, whichever is higher) for Stage II.
- Stage II carries 20 marks and is held online by video-conferencing.
- You need 50 percent in Stage I and Stage II combined (out of 100) for AIIMS and PGIMER seats. Absence in Stage II means you are not qualified for those seats.

What happens after the INI SS result?
After the final result, AIIMS runs online seat allocation. You fill your choices of institute in order of preference, and AIIMS allots the best seat available at your rank across both merit lists.
- Seat allocation for the January session usually starts in December. For the January 2026 session, Round 1 choice filling ran from 20 to 26 December 2025.
- If you get a seat, accept it and report to the institute with your documents within the given dates.
- Courses of the January 2027 session start in January 2027.
- Seats left vacant in a sub-group are carried forward to the next session.
