The JCECE LE result 2027 will be a merit list PDF on jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in with each candidate’s subject marks, total and ranks. It is not out yet. In 2026 the result came on 5 August, about five weeks after the exam, so the 2027 result is expected in July or August 2027. Ranked candidates then join online counselling.

How to Check the JCECE LE Result 2027
- Open jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and go to the Download or Result section.
- Click “Result of Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (Lateral Entry) 2027”.
- Download the merit list PDF.
- Search for your roll number or application number.
- Note your total marks, common merit list (CML) rank and category rank for counselling.
What does the JCECE LE result show?
There is no separate scorecard. The result is one merit list, and in 2026 each row showed your application and roll numbers, name, gender, date of birth, category, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics marks, total marks, CML rank and, where they apply, category, EWS, TFW, PTG and PwD ranks.
How is the JCECE LE merit list prepared?
JCECEB ranks candidates by total marks in one common merit list plus category-wise lists. When marks are tied, the order is:
- Higher Mathematics marks.
- Higher Physics marks.
- The older candidate.
- English alphabetical order of first name.
In 2026 the top score was 121 out of 150, shared by the first two candidates and split by Mathematics marks.
What is the expected JCECE LE 2027 cut off?
JCECEB does not announce a cut off, so the best guide is the last rank that got a seat. These are the highest CML ranks given an unreserved seat at B.I.T. Sindri in round 1 (2026, worked out by us from the official round 1 list of 9 August 2026).

Later rounds go further down: by the third round on 7 September 2026, seats were allotted up to CML rank 4,757 out of 4,789 ranked candidates.
What happens after the JCECE LE result?
JCECEB allots seats on merit and choice through online counselling. In 2026 it ran three rounds, with allotment lists on 9 August, 28 August and 7 September 2026, and posted a vacant seat matrix after each round.
- Register for online counselling on jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in when the notice comes out, and pay the counselling fee shown in it.
- Fill your institute and branch choices in order of preference.
- Check the round-wise list of provisionally recommended candidates.
- Report to the allotted institute with original documents by the deadline.
- Take part in the next round if you want a better seat, as the counselling notice allows.
