JEECUP 2020 Result Date
JEECUP has announced the UP Polytechnic result release date. The result will release for Group A & E (Offline) and Group B, C, D, F, G, H, I & K1 to K8 (Online) on September 28, 2020, by 04.00 PM. After the UP Polytechnic result declaration, detail on online seat allocation counseling will be announced from September 30, 2020.

How is JEECUP 2020 Result Prepared?
The result for the UP Polytechnic entrance exam is compiled based on the final answer key. The score of the candidate is calculate as per the marking scheme which is further used for determining the state open rank of the candidate. You can check the process of computation of JEECUP 2020 score from below:
Step 1: The options marked in JEECUP final answer key is taken into consideration for calculation of score.
Step 2: It is then cross-checked with the answers marked by the candidate during the exam.
Step 3: Now, for a correct answer, 04 marks arew awarded and for an incorrect answer, 01 mark is deducted.

The result for JEECUP 2020 entrance exam is released in the form of a rank card. The Council does not dispatch the JEECUP 2020 rank card by post or fax or by any other medium except for online mode to the candidates. Candidates shall require the hard copy of the rank card at the time of JEECUP 2020 counselling.

How to Check JEECUP Result If Forgot Details?
If a candidate does not remember their roll number, then it can be checked from JEECUP admit card / hall ticket. Other than this, there is no other way to retrieve it. If you do not have the hard copy of the admit card, then check your inbox of your registered email id. The Council has specified in its information brochure that the admit card is also sent to the candidate’s registered email id. In case if it is not found in your inbox, then check your spam folder.
What After the Declaration of JEECUP 2020 Result?
After the declaration of JEECUP Result 2020, the candidates who have obtained marks equal to or greater than the cut-off marks are declared as qualified. Based on the state open rank obtained by the candidate, they are shortlisted to appear for the counselling round(s). Admission is granted solely based on their performance in the entrance exam. Furthermore, the Council, gives preference to the state domicile candidates for admission and if the seats are vacant, the rest of the candidates, i.e. other state candidates, are considered for admission.
JEECUP 2020 Admission Preference
The Council has specified that the candidates who fall under these categories are preferred for admission. These categories are:
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from the Institute situated in Uttar Pradesh (UP) or whose parents are domicile of UP or MOther / Father is an employee of Centra Govt.. and currently posted in UP.
- If the seats are vacant after the admission of the above-said candidates, then the admission will be open for the rest of the qualified candidates.
- Foreign candidates have to be nominated / recommended by their own Country and nominated / recommended / agreed by the Govt. of India to be considered for admission.
JEECUP 2020 Counselling
The aspirants who have passed the examination by acquiring the minimum qualifying marks can participate in JEECUP Counselling 2020. In the counselling process, the candidates need to first register and do choice filling for branches and institutes. For the choice filling process, the candidates need to select the branch and institute as per their preference. After the Seat Allocation Process / admission, the candidates have to report for the document verification process.
