Candidates will be allowed to compare and know their approximate marks in advance through this facility. From what we have gathered now, the answer key shall be available in pdf file format containing the right responses of all the 100 questions asked in the qualifying examination.

As there is a time gap of more than a month between the test date and result announcement, private coaching institutes might also release the Unofficial Answer key. However, this answer key cannot be considered as the exact one. The purpose of releasing the answer key is to give the candidates an idea of their performance in the paper.

JENPAUH 2018 Answer key: The questions will be attempted on specially designed OMR sheets. The Optical Machine Readable Response is calculated by the optical reader machine. Thus, the correct order is to be followed by the candidates so that responses can be captured correctly. There are some private coaching institutes which will also release their own answer keys. But these answer keys are unofficial answers. The answers that these institutes release are based on the material that they supply. And the board does not give recognition to such answers. Therefore, you are advised to use your discretion.
Score Evaluation Methodology
All questions had 4 options out of which only 1 was correct. Every correct response yields 2 marks whereas every Incorrect response gets 1/2 (25% marks) deducted. If the candidate has marked more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks. Moreover, no response yields 0 marks. When the answer key is published online, candidates have to adopt this methodology to evaluate their marks. This will give you a fair of where you stand. However, there is no guarantee that these are the exact marks that you will score. The exact marks may vary when the results are announced.
Evaluation and Declaration of Result after the Answer Key
The Board shall announce the results on its official website. No individual will be intimated separately regarding the result. There is no provision of sending results through post. After that the final result will be published in the form of Rank Cards. The rank card contains all the relevant ranks obtained by the candidate and the total score. Rank card would be accessible by logging in using the password. There shall be no facility for issuing duplicate rank cards at any later stage after a specified date. Hence candidates are advised to retain their rank cards carefully in secured place in undamaged condition for all future purpose.
