KEAM 2027 is the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical entrance exam of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. Its computer-based test decides B.Tech and B.Pharm admission in Kerala, while medical and architecture seats use NEET-UG and NATA scores. The 2027 dates are not out yet: applications are expected in January 2027 and the exam in April 2027.

KEAM 2027 Important Dates
CEE Kerala has not published the KEAM 2027 schedule, so the 2027 dates below are expected months based on 2026, when applications ran from 5 January to 6 February and the engineering CBT was held from 17 to 22 April.

How to Apply for KEAM 2027
You apply for KEAM 2027 online at cee.kerala.gov.in once CEE Kerala publishes the KEAM 2027 prospectus, expected in January 2027. One application covers Engineering, B.Pharm, Architecture and Medical and allied courses, so tick every stream you may want. Nothing can be changed after you click Save & Finalize.
Apply Online for KEAM 2027
Applications for KEAM 2027 are expected in January 2027.
- Open cee.kerala.gov.in and click the KEAM 2027 Online Application link.
- Register once. You get a seven-digit application number; create a password of at least 8 characters with a letter, a number and a symbol.
- Fill the application, check it with Save & Preview, then click Save & Finalize.
- Pay the application fee online by credit card, debit card or net banking.
- Upload your photograph and signature (JPG, 150 x 100 pixels, up to 100 KB each) and PDFs of your nativity proof, date of birth proof, SSLC certificate and any reservation certificates.
- Print the Application Acknowledgement page and keep it. Do not post it to CEE.

These are the 2026 fees. Choosing a UAE exam centre costs Rs 16,000 extra. Defects in your photo, signature or certificates are shown only in the candidate portal, and in 2026 the admit card was withheld until they were fixed.
How to log in to the KEAM 2027 candidate portal?
You use the KEAM candidate portal, with your application number and password, to pay any balance fee, fix defects, download the admit card, file answer key complaints, see your score, submit your Plus Two marks, check your rank and register options for allotment.
- Open the CEE Kerala website. The KEAM 2027 Candidate Portal link will appear there when registration opens, expected in January 2027; the portal live now is for KEAM 2026.
- Click the KEAM 2027 Candidate Portal link.
- Enter your seven-digit application number, your password and the access code shown in the image.
- Click Login.
- Your profile page opens with your application status, Memo Details for any defects, and the menu items live at that stage, such as Admit Card, Result and option registration.
Forgot your password or application number? Use the links on the portal page. On the KEAM 2026 portal, Forgot Password asked for your application number and date of birth and sent an OTP to your registered mobile, and Forgot Application Number asked for your name and registered mobile number.
Who can apply for KEAM 2027?
For engineering you need a pass in Plus Two (Kerala HSE or an equivalent board) with Physics and Mathematics, and at least 45% in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry taken together. SC, ST, SEBC and PD candidates need 40%. These are the 2026 rules, which are expected to continue.
- If you did not study Chemistry, Computer Science is counted instead, then Biotechnology, then Biology.
- Students appearing for Plus Two can take the exam and must prove eligibility at admission.
- You must be 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year. There is no upper age limit for engineering or B.Pharm.
- B.Pharm needs Plus Two with English, and Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology, each passed individually.
- Candidates from outside Kerala can apply, but only candidates of Kerala origin (Keralites) can claim communal reservation.
To enter the engineering rank list you also need a normalised entrance score of at least 10. SC and ST candidates have no minimum score but must answer at least one question.
What is the KEAM 2027 exam pattern?
KEAM is a computer-based test of five-option multiple choice questions, with 4 marks for a correct answer and 1 mark deducted for a wrong one. Engineering and pharmacy are separate papers. This is the 2026 pattern.

Your engineering rank does not come from the entrance score alone. CEE adds your normalised entrance score (out of 300) to your normalised Plus Two marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, weighted 150, 90 and 60, for an index mark out of 600. Which courses use the KEAM 2027 application?
The KEAM application is the single entry point for professional degree admission through CEE Kerala, but each course uses a different score.
