KEAM Answer Key 2027: Release Date, Complaints, Score Calculation

CEE Kerala will publish the KEAM 2027 answer keys on cee.kerala.gov.in after all CBT sessions end, expected in April 2027. Candidates can file complaints through the candidate portal for 3 days at Rs 200 per question. In 2026 provisional keys came on 23 April and final keys on 5 May, along with candidates’ recorded responses.

How to Check the KEAM 2027 Answer Key

1. Open cee.kerala.gov.in and go to the KEAM 2027 page.
2. Click Answer Key and open the PDF for your exam (Engineering or Pharmacy) and your session date.
3. Each PDF shows the questions with the correct option, so you can match the questions you saw in your session.
4. After the final key, log in to the candidate portal to see your recorded responses, as candidates could in 2026.

How do I challenge the KEAM answer key?

You can challenge a question or answer only through the candidate portal, within 3 days of the provisional key, by paying Rs 200 per question online.

1. Log in to the KEAM 2027 candidate portal.
2. Open Answer Key Challenge (Engineering) or Answer Key Challenge (Pharmacy).
3. Enter the question and the details of your complaint.
4. Pay Rs 200 for each question online and submit before the deadline (5:00 PM on 26 April in 2026).

Subject expert committees review the complaints and their decision is final. If your complaint is found genuine, the fee is refunded to the bank account given in your application. Complaints by post, email or in person are not accepted.

How do I calculate my KEAM score from the answer key?

Give yourself 4 marks for each correct answer and subtract 1 for each wrong answer; unanswered questions get 0.

This raw score is only an estimate. CEE adjusts it for deleted questions and then normalises it across sessions to a score out of 300, which is what you see in the KEAM 2027 result.

What happens to deleted questions in the KEAM answer key?

If a question is deleted in the final key, CEE multiplies your raw score in that subject by a correction factor so that no one loses marks for it. In 2026 the 20 April engineering session had 1 Physics, 3 Chemistry and 3 Mathematics questions deleted, and the 22 April session had 5 Mathematics questions deleted.
