KMAT Kerala 2027 is the Kerala Management Aptitude Test, a computer-based entrance exam for MBA admission in Kerala, conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. It is held in two sessions a year. KMAT 2027 is not notified yet; Session 1 is expected in February 2027 and Session 2 in May 2027.

How to Apply for KMAT Kerala 2027
You apply for KMAT Kerala online only, on cee.kerala.gov.in, through the link “KMAT 2027 – Online Application” once CEE opens it (Session 1 expected from December 2026). Each session has its own notification, candidate portal and application. In 2026, Session 1 applications ran from 22 December 2025 to 5 February 2026, and Session 2 from 27 April to 14 May 2026.
Apply Online for KMAT Kerala 2027
Applications for KMAT Kerala 2027 are expected in December 2026.
- Register on the KMAT candidate portal with your basic details and create a strong password (at least 8 characters with a letter, a number and a symbol). You get a system-generated application number.
- Fill in the application form carefully and click Save and Finalize. No changes are possible after final submission.
- Pay the application fee online by internet banking, debit card or credit card. The Pay Application Fee tab turns green when the payment succeeds.
- Upload a recent passport-size colour photo with a light background (JPEG, 15 KB to 100 KB, 150 x 200 pixels). Phone, computer and Polaroid photos are not accepted.
- Upload your signature in black or blue ink on white paper (JPEG, 4 KB to 100 KB, 150 x 100 pixels).
- Print or save the Application Acknowledgement Page. Do not post it to CEE.

The fee is not refunded or carried forward to another exam, and a submitted application cannot be withdrawn. You do not upload certificates with the form; you show them to the university or college at admission. The KMAT 2027 fee will be confirmed in the 2027 notification.
How to log in to the KMAT Kerala 2027 candidate portal?
You log in to the KMAT candidate portal to finish your application and pay the fee, fix a defective photo or signature, download the admit card, raise answer key complaints, and view your score and download the score card.
- Open the official CEE Kerala website and click the KMAT 2027 candidate portal for your session. The 2027 portal is not live yet; it will open with Session 1 registration, expected in December 2026.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Type the access code shown on the screen and click Login. The 2026 Session 2 portal also offered Login using Mobile OTP and Login using Email OTP.
- Your home page opens with menus for the application, fee payment, admit card, answer key complaints and result, as each stage opens.
- Each session has its own portal and application, so use the login details for that session.
Forgot your password or application number? Use the Forgot Password or Forgot Application Number link under the login box on the KMAT candidate portal. Keep both safe until MBA admission is over, as CEE asks for them at every stage.
Who can apply for KMAT Kerala 2027?
You can apply for KMAT Kerala if you hold, or are finishing, a bachelor’s degree of at least three years. These are the 2026 rules; the 2027 notification will confirm them.
- Degree: a bachelor’s degree of at least three years in Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management or an equivalent field.
- Minimum marks: CEE sets no percentage. You need the minimum marks fixed by the university you apply to for MBA.
- Final-year students: can apply, if their results are declared before the MBA admission process begins.
- Nationality: Indians and non-Indians can apply. Only Keralite candidates get reservation and fee concessions.
- Age: no age limit.
What is the KMAT Kerala 2027 exam pattern?
KMAT Kerala is a 3-hour computer-based test of 180 objective questions worth 4 marks each, for 720 marks. One mark is cut for every wrong answer, and nothing is cut for a question you leave. Topic details are on the KMAT Kerala 2027 syllabus page.

The test is held at centres in all districts of Kerala. While applying, you choose four exam cities in order of preference; if too few candidates pick a city, CEE may give you a centre in another city.
How is the KMAT Kerala score used for MBA admission?
Your KMAT score makes you eligible for MBA admission in Kerala universities, university departments and affiliated colleges, including autonomous colleges. CEE Kerala only conducts the test; it does not run counselling or allot seats.
- Qualifying marks (2026): 72 out of 720 (10%) for General and SEBC candidates, and 54 (7.5%) for SC, ST and PD candidates.
- Admission weightage (2026 bulletin): KMAT score 80%, group discussion 10% and personal interview 10%, done by the university or college.
- Validity: a KMAT score counts only for MBA admission in the same academic year. It is not carried forward.

Is KMAT Kerala the same as KMAT Karnataka?
No. KMAT Kerala is run by CEE Kerala for MBA seats in Kerala, with two sessions a year. KMAT Karnataka is a different exam, conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) for MBA, PGDM and MCA seats in its member institutions in Karnataka. Check the state before you apply, because a score from one is not used for the other.
