Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions, the Competent Authority conducts MAH CET for MBA / MMS for admissions to the Full-Time Management courses viz. MBA / MMS . MAH CET is given in order to seek admission to the Two – year full-time Post Graduate Degree course in Management (MBA / MMS) in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. The examination for the same is held in an online mode for those candidates who aim to pursue MBA and MMS course from the colleges of Maharashtra. In order to take the MAH CET exam, the candidates need to apply online. Herein we have mentioned some general information concerning MAH CET eligibility criteria, examination pattern, etc.
Candidates who are interested and take admission in MBA are to fill the application form online. DTE, Maharashtra will release the application form for the same. Candidates who are going to fill the application form must ensure their eligibility before filling the application form. Candidates before applying for MAH CET must ensure foremost their eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are as such:
- Passed minimum Three – year Duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent;
- Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree to be awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline.
The MAH MBA MMS CET is conducted only in the Online mode in multiple sessions. Candidates shall appear for the CET strictly as per the date and session allotted to them at allotted center / venue. No candidate is allowed to appear for test in other than the allotted session/date in the year of examination. The exam consists of 200 questions of 200 maximum marks and is to be completed in 150 minutes. There is no negative marking for this test. The medium of Common Entrance Test is in the English language.

MAH MBA CET Syllabus
Logical / Abstract Reasoning
This shall include the questions to measures how quickly and accurately you can think. This test is designed to assess the candidate’s ability skills such as how to interpret number sequences or the relationships and questions based on verbal reasoning.
This shall include the questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, percentage, etc. This test also helps to measure your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts.
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
This shall include passages with questions based on their contents to test your comprehension. Your English Language ability would be tested through questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. Your English language ability would be tested through questions on (1) understanding of the contents of the passage and (2) choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills.
