NEET PG Answer Key 2027: Expected Date, Response Sheet, Challenge

NBEMS is expected to publish the NEET PG 2027 answer key in each candidate’s login, with their own responses, the correct answer IDs and marks per question. In 2026 the key came on 1 October with the scorecard, so it is expected in October 2027. Question challenges close two days after the exam.

How to Check the NEET PG 2027 Answer Key

  1. Go to natboard.edu.in and open the NEET-PG page.
  2. Click the NEET PG 2027 applicant login link.
  3. Log in with your application ID and password.
  4. Open the answer key section to see your question IDs, your responses and the correct answer IDs.
  5. Save or print the page for your records.

What will the NEET PG 2027 answer key show?

The NEET PG answer key also works as your response sheet. It is personal to you, because questions and options are shuffled for every candidate.

  • Question IDs section by section, in the order of your question paper
  • Whether you answered or skipped each question
  • The correct answer key ID (1, 2, 3 or 4) for each question
  • The option you marked
  • The score given for each question: 4, -1 or 0

NBEMS publishes the key with responses following the Supreme Court order of 29 April 2025.

How can you challenge a NEET PG 2027 question?

You can challenge a NEET PG question only for a technical error, within two calendar days of the exam and before the result. Send it with supporting literature from your registered email through the NBEMS Communication Web Portal. In 2026 the window closed on 1 September, two days after the 30 August exam, so the 2027 window is expected in August 2027.

  • Challenges about difficulty level are not accepted.
  • Late challenges are not considered.
  • The latest bulletin does not list any fee for a challenge.
  • Faculty review every question after the exam. If a question is found technically incorrect or ambiguous, all candidates get full marks for it, whether they attempted it or not.

There is no re-evaluation or re-totalling after the result.

How to Calculate Your NEET PG 2027 Score

  1. Count the questions you answered correctly and multiply by 4.
  2. Count the wrong answers and subtract 1 mark for each.
  3. Unattempted questions get 0.
  4. Score = (correct x 4) – (wrong x 1). The maximum is 720.

NEET PG Answer Key 2027 FAQs

Will the NEET PG 2027 answer key come before the result?
No, it is expected after the result. In 2026 the result came on 24 September and the answer key on 1 October. Memory-based keys from coaching institutes appear earlier, but they are unofficial.
Why is my correct option number different from my friend’s?
NBEMS shuffles both the question order and the option order for each candidate. The same question can have a different correct option ID in another set.
Can I challenge the NEET PG answer key after seeing it?
No. Challenges are allowed only within two days of the exam, before the result. The published key is final.
Does the NEET PG answer key change my rank?
No. The key shows how your score was calculated. Your rank is already fixed in the result.
