The candidates who have qualified in the NEET-MDS 2020 are finally merit listed to take admission in the PG Dental Counselling 2020-21 against the state quota seats. The candidates are requested to go through the final Merit list. No change has been made to the provisional merit list. The decision of the Counselling Committee in this regard is final & binding. Any candidate found to have submitted wrong facts or have concealed any fact, leading to the entry of his / her name in the merit list shall as such be deleted from the merit list and legal action as deemed proper shall be initiated against him/her. Tie Breaking Criteria
While preparing merit lists, a tie-breaker is used is there are tie cases. A tie case is one wherein two or more candidates have secured equal marks. For such cases, the ranking shall be decided in order of preference as under:
- Candidate with higher marks in the subject applied for in his BDS examination, will get priority over the rest of them.
- If there is still a tie, the older candidate will get preference over the younger ones.

Odisha PG Dental Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must possess the required eligibility to be considered for admission to Odisha PG dental admission 2020. Citizenship: The candidates must be permanent citizens of the state of Odisha Or must be son/daughter/spouse of any one of the following:

- Public Sector undertaking, of either Odisha or Government of India, located in Odisha

Educational qualifications: The candidates must hold a BDS degree recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), at the time of applying for the course.

- The candidate must be registered under DCI or a state dental council.
- Also, candidate must have completed 1 year compulsory rotating internship.

Steps to apply: Carefully follow the guidelines given below to apply for admission to concerned MDS courses.
Step 1: Registration: The candidate needs to register on the website of DMET, Odisha within the application window. Firstly, the candidate has to create a username and password. This username and password will be required for all the future purposes and must be kept safe.
Step 2: Filling Application Form: After registering, you have to fill the application form for Odisha PG Dental Admission 2020. In the form, the candidate needs to put in all the information as accurately as possible. Click on “submit” to proceed. Also, take a printout of the filled application form.
