The PG Dental Courses offered are of 3 years duration from the date of joining. Admissions to PG Dental Courses are subject to starting/ renewal of permission/ increase of seats by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The admissions are granted once a year.

Odisha PG Dental Admission 2021 Merit List
The candidates who have qualified in the NEET-MDS 2021 are finally merit listed to take admission in the PG Dental Counselling 2021-22 against the state quota seats. The candidates are requested to go through the final Merit list. No change has been made to the provisional merit list. The decision of the Counselling Committee in this regard is final & binding. Any candidate found to have submitted wrong facts or have concealed any fact, leading to the entry of his / her name in the merit list shall as such be deleted from the merit list and legal action as deemed proper shall be initiated against him/her.
Odisha PG Dental Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must possess the required eligibility to be considered for admission to Odisha PG dental admission 2021. Citizenship: The candidates must be permanent citizens of the state of Odisha Or must be son/daughter/spouse of any one of the following:
- Employees of the Government of Odisha
- All India Services belonging to Odisha Cadre serving within or outside Odisha
- Ex-servicemen personnel who is a permanent resident of the state of Odisha
- Public Sector undertaking, of either Odisha or Government of India, located in Odisha
Educational qualifications: The candidates must hold a BDS degree recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), at the time of applying for the course.
- The candidate must be registered under DCI or a state dental council.
- Also, candidate must have completed 1 year compulsory rotating internship.

Counselling for Odisha PG Dental Admission 2021
The admission to both direct and in-service candidates will be granted on the basis of merit list prepared for NEET MDS 2021. The candidates need to go through the 5-stage selection procedure to get a seat. Check the detailed selection procedure from below.
Steps to apply: Carefully follow the guidelines given below to apply for admission to concerned MDS courses.
Step 1: Registration: The candidate needs to register on the website of DMET, Odisha within the application window. Firstly, the candidate has to create a username and password. This username and password will be required for all the future purposes and must be kept safe.
Step 2: Filling Application Form: After registering, you have to fill the application form for Odisha PG Dental Admission 2021. In the form, the candidate needs to put in all the information as accurately as possible. Click on “submit” to proceed. Also, take a printout of the filled application form.
Step 3: Document Verification: The candidates have to report at the verification centers with their documents. During this process, candidates have to produce their original documents as well as self-attested photocopies of the same.
Step 4: Choice locking: After verification of documents, you can proceed to fill choices for colleges as per your preference on the admission website, i.e, dmetodisha.gov.in.
Step 5: Allotment letter and Reporting: Seats will be allotted on merit basis. The candidates are required to download Allotment cum Admission letter and report to the Convener at the allotted time, date and venue along with admission fee. Original CLC (College Leaving Certificate) must also be deposited by the candidates.
