The OUAT result 2027 comes in two steps on ouat.ac.in and ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in: the entrance percentile, then the rank based on your weighted score. Both are expected in July to August 2027. In 2026 percentiles came on 30 July and ranks on 4 August. You then attend counselling in person.

How to Check the OUAT 2027 Result
You check the OUAT result by logging in with your application number and date of birth.
- Go to ouat.ac.in (admission section) or ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in.
- Click the link for the entrance percentile score or the intimation-cum-rank card.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- View your percentile, weighted score and rank.
- Download the intimation-cum-rank card; you need it at counselling.
What does the OUAT rank card show?
The intimation-cum-rank card shows your rank and the date and time you must report for counselling.
- Entrance percentile, up to three decimal places
- Weighted score and common rank
- Category ranks, where you qualify for SC, ST, GCH, PwD, AFP or other quotas
- Counselling date, time and venue
The card does not guarantee a seat. Admission depends on your rank, seats left when you are called and checks of your original documents.
How is the OUAT merit list prepared?
OUAT ranks candidates by weighted score: 25% of your Class 10 percentage, 25% of your +2 PCM or PCB percentage and 50% of your entrance percentile. A common list and category-wise lists are made for all courses.
Ties are broken by the higher entrance percentile, then +2 marks, then Class 10 marks, then PCM or PCB marks, and finally age, with the older candidate ranked higher. No rank is made if you did not submit Form-B.
What is the expected OUAT 2027 cut off?
OUAT does not publish a qualifying mark; the closest official cut off is the last unreserved spot-counselling rank that got a seat in 2026, shown below. These are spot-round ranks, not the main common rank list.

What happens after the OUAT result?
Counselling is held in person at OUAT, Bhubaneswar, in rank order on the dates given on your rank card. In 2026 it ran from 10 to 20 August, with spot rounds in late September and early October.
- Report on your rank call with the rank card, Form-B printout and original documents with two sets of self-attested copies.
- Choose a course, college and seat type from the seats shown in the counselling hall.
- Pay the admission fee by demand draft in favour of “Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar”.
- Seats left vacant go to spot counselling, where they are filled as cost sharing seats.
- Documents: Class 10 and +2 mark sheets and pass certificates, residential certificate if needed, category or quota certificate, Aadhaar, five passport photos.
- Forestry: a physical fitness certificate issued within 30 days of counselling.
- Fees: Rs 59,000 for a general seat (Rs 88,000 for B.V.Sc. & A.H.); bring drafts for the cost sharing difference if you may take such a seat.
