How do you object to the PIM-MAT 2027 answer key?
You send a representation by email before the deadline in the schedule. In 2026 the window was 10 to 12 June 2026, and objections went to [email protected].
Use the email address and deadline printed in the 2027 brochure, as the address can change each year. After reviewing representations, RAPIM publishes the final key, which is used for the result.
How to Calculate Your PIM-MAT Score with the Answer Key
Count your right and wrong answers, then subtract one-third of the wrong answers from the right ones. The brochure deducts 1/3 mark per wrong answer, so three wrong answers cost one mark.
- Right answer: 1 mark (implied by the rule that three wrong answers cost one mark).
- Wrong answer: minus 1/3 mark.
- Unanswered question: 0.
- Raw score = right answers minus (wrong answers divided by 3), out of 200.
Qualifying is decided by percentile, overall and in each section, so check every section separately. The 2026 percentiles are on the PIM-MAT result page.
Where can you practise with past PIM-MAT papers?
RAPIM does not publish past question papers. A 2022 paper compiled from candidates’ memory, with unofficial answers, is on the PIM-MAT question papers page.
