PIM-MAT 2027 has no prescribed syllabus. RAPIM’s brochure lists five test areas, each worth 20% of the 200-question paper: Logic, Verbal Ability, Business Mathematics, Current Affairs including Business Economics, and Data Interpretation. The 2027 brochure, expected around April 2027, will confirm the coverage for the June 2027 test.

Is there an official PIM-MAT 2027 syllabus?
No. The 2026-28 brochure says there is no prescribed syllabus for PIM-MAT. It only lists the five test areas and asks candidates to stay updated on current affairs, including economics, social trends, business and the global and national economic outlook.

What does each PIM-MAT section cover?
Each of the five sections carries 20% of the paper. The topics below are AglaSem’s guidance on what to practise, based on what the areas mean and on the 2022 paper; they are not an official list.

What is the PIM-MAT 2027 exam pattern and marking?
You answer 200 four-option questions on an OMR sheet in 2 hours, and each wrong answer costs 1/3 mark.

How should you prepare for PIM-MAT 2027?
Prepare all five areas evenly, since each is worth the same and there is a sectional cut off.
- Read a business newspaper daily and keep notes on economy, banking and business news.
- Practise mental arithmetic; electronic devices are not allowed in the hall.
- Solve full 200-question papers in 2 hours to build speed.
- Mark only the answers you are fairly sure of, because of the 1/3 negative marking.
