R.A Podar Institute of Management University of Rajasthan will conduct the PIM MAT 2018 for the candidates seeking admission to various management courses. Candidates who will be interested to pursue any of the MBA courses will have to appear for PIM MAT 2018. The online applications will be available on the official website i.e. rapim.ac.in as per the scheduled dates only. The admission criteria for the courses offered such as MBA, MBA (Service Management) and MBA (Executive) will be on the basis of PIM MAT 2018 and Group Discussion/Personal Interview. Candidates who will be willing to apply for the examination must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility requirements specified by the conducting body for the concerned courses. The application form can be filled through the online mode only. Candidates who will be applying for the PIM MAT 2018 will be requested to fill the application form before the last date of the application process.

Before applying the candidates need to be eligible as per the norms of the conducting body for the concerned courses. The eligibility criteria for the concerned courses will be as follows:
For MBA AND MBA (Service Management)
Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline (Engineering & Technology, SCience, Arts, Social Science etc) with aggregate 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC). Candidates who will be appearing in the final year may also apply but at their own risk as they will have to submit their mark sheet of the qualifying examination by the date and time given by the Institute.
For MBA (Executive)
Candidates must be passed in Bachelor Degree in any discipline (Engineering & Technology, Science, Arts, Social Science etc) with 48% marks in aggregate (43% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC). Along with the degree, the candidates must also have two years experience after the qualifying examination.
The selection of the candidates will be based on the prescribed admission criteria which will be given by the conducting body for the concerned courses. Eligible candidates will have to go through all the stages of the selection process to get admission in the concerned course. The admission criteria for the concerned MBA courses will be as follows:
MBA and MBA (Service Management)
The admission to the concerned courses will be based on the three stages i.e. Written Examination followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates who will qualify the written examination will be called for the GD/PI. On the total scores obtained by the candidates in all the three stages, the candidate’s will get admission to the concerned course.
The selection of the candidates for the concerned course will be based on the following components such as:

Note – There will be no written examination for the concerned course.
The work experience of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the following:
- 0.3 mark for every one month served subject to the maximum of 60 months.
- 15 days or more will be considered equivalent to one month.
- Work experience parallels to any full-time course will not be accepted by the conducting body.
Candidates who will appear for the PIM MAT 2018 need to go through the exam pattern for the concerned courses prescribed by the conducting body. The exam pattern of the concerned courses will be as follows:
MBA and MBA (Service Management)
The written examination for the concerned courses will consist of the five sections i.e.
- Verbal Ability
- Current affairs including Business and Economics
- Data Interpretation
- Business Mathematics and Logic
There will be negative marking in the proportion of 1 mark will be deducted for 3 wrong answers. The examination will be held in English only.
Candidates will have to fill the online application form to apply for the concerned courses. The application form will be available on the official website i.e. rapim.ac.in as per the scheduled dates only. Candidates will be required to fill the correct and complete details in the form as per the instructions. Along with the filling of form, the candidates need to pay the application fee i.e. Rs. 1500/- through E-Mitra Kiosk/C.S.C Centre/ Online through E-mitra portal. Candidates will be requested to complete the application process before the last date in order to avoid the last minute rush.
After the successful application process, the candidates will get the Admit Card for few days before the examination. The admit card will be uploaded on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card by entering the required details and take a printout of it for the future reference. Candidates will have to carry the admit card along with the photo ID proof at the day of the examination.
After the written examination, the Answer key will be published by the conducting body. Candidates can check their answers to the questions asked in the examination. If any candidate will found any objection in the answer key then he/she can submit it to the conducting body within the given schedule. After the submission of the objections then the expert committee will take them into consideration and make the necessary changes if required. Lastly, the conducting body will release the Final Answer Key which will be final and binding on all.
Declaration of Result
The result will be declared for the candidates appeared in the examination. It will consist of the marks obtained by the candidates in all the stages of the admission process. Firstly, the result will be declared for the candidates who will qualify the written examination and secondly, the result of the GD/PI will be uploaded for the qualified candidates. The result will be uploaded on the official website only. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in all the three stages of the admission process. Only the qualified candidates of all the stages will be called further for the counselling process.
After the declaration of result, the qualified candidates will be called for the counselling session. The counselling session will only be conducted for the MBA and MBA (Service Management) courses and there will no counselling for the MBA (Executive) course. It will be held on the basis of the position of the candidates in the final merit list. The schedule and other details regarding the counselling will be provided to the candidates through the official website or the Institute itself. Candidates will have to appear for the final admission at the allotted schedule along with all the required documents and required fees in the form of bank draft.
