How to Use PIM-MAT Previous Year Papers?
- Move at 36 seconds a question. 200 questions in 120 minutes is the fastest pace of any MBA test you are likely to take. Give each section about 24 minutes and leave a question the moment it slows you down.
- Do not guess blind. With −1/3 for a wrong answer, a blind guess among four options averages zero. Ruling out one option makes it slightly positive, so guess only when you can cut at least one choice.
- Do not skip a section. You need a minimum overall and sectional percentile to pass the written test, so a weak section can stop you even with a good total.
- Check 2022 answers yourself. The answers in the 2022 PDF are unofficial, so confirm doubtful ones. Its current affairs questions are about 2022 events, such as the Thomas Cup 2022, so use them only for style.
- Plan for June 2027. About seven months remain. Practise Business Mathematics and Data Interpretation without a calculator, since none is allowed in the hall.

What is the PIM-MAT exam pattern?
200 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours, in five sections of 20% each: Logic, Verbal Ability, Business Mathematics, Current Affairs including Business Economics, and Data Interpretation.
Is there negative marking in PIM-MAT?
Yes. Each wrong answer costs 1/3 mark, so three wrong answers cost one mark.
Is the PIM-MAT 2022 paper official?
No. It was rebuilt from questions candidates shared after the 2022 exam, and the answers marked in it are unofficial.
Is the PIM-MAT 2026 question paper available?
Not yet. The 2026 page has RAPIM’s answer key, but not the paper.
Can I write PIM-MAT in Hindi?
No. The 2026 brochure says the test is in English, and the MBA is taught in English.
When is PIM-MAT 2027?
