PU BA / B.Com LLB Result 2027: Date, Merit List, Cut Off, Counselling

The PU BA / B.Com LLB result 2027 is expected in May 2027 at results.puchd.ac.in, about two to three weeks after the test. Panjab University issues no separate result card. Admission then needs a separate online admission form, and seats go by a merit score that adds half your test marks to half your Class 12 percentage.

1. Go to results.puchd.ac.in once the result is declared. The link is also posted on uglaw.puchd.ac.in.
2. Open the B.A./B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) 5 Years Integrated Course 2027 result link.
3. Enter the details asked for, such as your roll number.
4. Check your marks and download or print the page.

In 2026 the result was declared on 12 May, 16 days after the test. No separate result card is issued, so keep your printout.

What details are on the PU BA / B.Com LLB 2027 merit list?

The merit lists on uglaw.puchd.ac.in show each candidate’s rank and how the merit score was built, category by category, separately for BA LLB and B.Com LLB.

How is the PU BA / B.Com LLB merit score calculated?

Your merit score is 50% of your Class 12 percentage (with any weightage) plus 50% of your entrance test marks. For example, 78 marks in the test and 97.4% in Class 12 give 39 + 48.7 = 87.7.

• Class 12 percentage uses your best subjects: best 5 for CBSE and PSEB, best 4 for CISCE.
• For B.Com LLB, each passed commerce subject from the official list adds 4 points of weightage, up to 16.
• You must score at least 15% in the test (10% for SC, ST, BC and PwD) to enter the merit list.
• Ties go to the higher Class 12 percentage, then Class 10 percentage, then the older candidate.

What is the expected PU BA / B.Com LLB 2027 cut off?

Panjab University publishes no cut-off, so the table shows the last merit score admitted in each category in the first admission list at UILS Chandigarh (2026, official UILS 1st admission list, 22 July 2026).

Scores are merit scores out of 100, not test marks. Later lists went lower: UILS issued nine admission lists up to 29 September 2026. For counselling on 13 July 2026, general ranks 1 to 350 were called first.

What should you do after the PU BA / B.Com LLB result?

Qualifying the test does not give you a seat. You must fill a separate online admission form at uglaw.puchd.ac.in by its last date.

1. Log in at uglaw.puchd.ac.in, fill the admission form section by section and lock each one. In 2026 it was open from 20 May to 14 June.
2. Send the printed form with documents to the Director, UILS, Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh by the deadline (17 June 2026, 4 PM). Reserved category candidates must send it.
3. Check the tentative merit list and email any objection to [email protected] within the window.
4. Check the provisional merit list and the counselling schedule on uils.puchd.ac.in.
5. Attend counselling in person on your date and mark attendance for each course and campus to stay on the waiting lists.
6. If selected, pay the fee by the date in the admission list.
