PULEET 2027 is the Panjab University Lateral Engineering Entrance Test, held by Panjab University, Chandigarh for diploma holders who want direct admission to the second year of B.E. at UIET, Dr SSB UICET, UIET Hoshiarpur and CCET Chandigarh. Dates are not out yet; the test is expected in June 2027.

Panjab University has not announced the PULEET 2027 schedule yet, so the dates below are expected months based on 2026, when the prospectus came out on 28 April and the test was held on 14 June.

How to Apply for PULEET 2027
You apply for PULEET 2027 online at puleet.puchd.ac.in, where Panjab University publishes the prospectus and form, expected in April 2027. The steps and fee below follow the 2026 prospectus.
Apply Online for PULEET 2027
Applications for PULEET 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Go to puleet.puchd.ac.in and open Online Registration.
- Submit your basic details to generate your login ID and password. In 2026 the last date for this step was 26 May.
- Log in and pay the entrance test fee online. Online payment is the only mode.
- Upload your photograph and signature, fill in the rest of the form and submit it before the last date.
- SC, ST and PwD candidates and PU employees claiming a fee concession send the form printout with documents to the Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh by the notified date.

The fee is not refunded. Once you submit the form, you cannot change any detail, including your category, so check everything before you submit.
How to log in to the PULEET 2027 candidate portal?
You log in to the PULEET portal with the login ID and password you get at registration, to pay the fee, complete your form with your photograph and signature, and download your Roll No. slip (admit card).
- Open the official PULEET login page. It still shows the 2026 cycle; 2027 login IDs are issued only when registration opens, expected in April 2027.
- Enter the login ID you got after submitting your basic details.
- Enter your password and the captcha shown on the page, then sign in.
- Your account shows the fee payment and form links, and later the Roll No. slip download link.
- Check all your details before the last date, because the form cannot be changed after submission.
Forgot your password? Use the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page and enter your application number, registered email ID, mobile number and date of birth. Forgot your application number? Use “Recover your Application Number?” and enter your registered email ID.
Who can apply for PULEET 2027?
You can apply if you have, or are completing, an engineering diploma with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC, ST, BC and PwD candidates). These are the 2026 rules; the 2027 prospectus may update them.
- A diploma in engineering of at least 3 years after Class 10, with Physics and Mathematics, or a diploma of at least 2 years after Class 12.
- The diploma must be from a polytechnic affiliated to a state board of technical education or a university, or recognised by UGC or AICTE.
- A D.Voc. in the same or an allied sector is accepted only for CCET, Chandigarh.
- In 2026 the diploma had to be passed in 2024 or later.
- Any reappear or compartment must be cleared before counselling, or you cannot take part in it.
B.Sc graduates are not eligible: the prospectus lists only diploma routes.
Which colleges and seats are offered through PULEET 2027?
PULEET fills second-year B.E. seats at four colleges in Chandigarh and Hoshiarpur. Only CCET has a fixed lateral entry intake; the Panjab University institutes offer the seats left vacant after PUMEET.

What is the PULEET 2027 exam pattern?
PULEET has 100 multiple choice questions of one mark each, answered on an OMR sheet in 1 hour 40 minutes. This is the 2026 pattern, which is expected to continue. The PULEET 2027 syllabus lists the topics of each section.

There are no cut-off marks: every candidate gets a rank on the merit list. Solving PULEET previous year question papers is the best way to get used to the mix of subjects.
