The PULEET sample paper is the short set of official sample questions that Panjab University prints at the end of its prospectus. They cover Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical, Electronics, programming and Electrical topics. Use them with full past papers to practise for PULEET 2027, expected in June 2027.

New for 2027: the AglaSem PULEET Sample Paper 2027 follows the latest official pattern: the lateral entry test for diploma holders: 100 questions in ten sections of 10 (six engineering subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and aptitude) in 1 hour 40 minutes, with 1/4 mark cut for a wrong answer. It comes with an answer key and a short solution for every question. It is an AglaSem practice paper, not an official paper.

What pattern should a PULEET practice paper follow?
Practise to the 2026 pattern: 100 multiple choice questions in 1 hour 40 minutes, with 10 questions in each of ten sections. Six sections are general engineering (electrical, electronics, programming, mechanical, civil and chemical) and four are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General Aptitude and Communication Skills.
Each correct answer gets 1 mark and each wrong answer loses 1/4 mark. Calculators are not allowed.
How should you use the PULEET sample paper?
- Read the PULEET syllabus so you know all ten sections.
- Try the sample questions to see the level of each subject.
- Then sit a full past paper in one 1 hour 40 minute stretch with a timer.
- Score yourself: +1 for a correct answer and -1/4 for a wrong one.
- Revise the topics behind every question you got wrong or guessed.
Sample paper or previous year papers: which should you solve?
Solve both. The sample paper has only a handful of questions, so most of your practice should come from the PULEET previous year question papers, which are full papers with answer keys.
