What is in the TANCET 2027 MBA syllabus?
The MBA paper has five areas, all at graduate level.
- Business situations: read a typical business case, identify the key data and apply it to business decisions.
- Reading comprehension: answer questions based on passages.
- Mathematics: problems at graduate level, including Class 12 level topics.
- Data sufficiency: decide whether the given data is enough to answer a question, using mathematics and day-to-day facts.
- Written English: errors in usage, grammar, punctuation and similar questions.
What is in the TANCET 2027 MCA syllabus?
The MCA paper has four sections.
- Quantitative ability
- Analytical ability
- Logical reasoning
- Computer awareness
A few questions may also come from verbal ability and basic science.

How should I prepare for TANCET 2027?
- Read the syllabus for your programme and list the areas you are weak in.
- Revise Class 12 and graduate-level mathematics, since both papers depend on it.
- For MBA, read business case passages and practise data sufficiency daily.
- For MCA, add basic computer awareness: number systems, hardware, software and programming terms.
- Solve full papers in 2 hours on an OMR-style sheet and skip guesses, since a wrong answer costs 1/4 mark.
