- Click Login or the result link on the home page.
- Enter your registration or roll number and date of birth (or password, as the page asks).
- View your marks and rank for your programme and group.
- Download and print the result. You need it for counselling and admission.
What are the UPCATET qualifying marks and how is merit decided?
You qualify if you score at least 10% of the maximum marks as a General or OBC candidate, or 5% as an SC or ST candidate. Qualified candidates are ranked by total marks within each programme and paper group.
- UG ties are broken by marks in question group D, then C, then B, then A.
- Ph.D. ties are broken by group C, then B, then A, and then the younger candidate ranks higher.
- Sports players get 2% weightage on their score for all courses except B.V.Sc. & A.H.
- Answer sheets are not rechecked or re-evaluated after the result.
What is the expected UPCATET 2027 cut off?
The only cut off UPCATET publishes is the qualifying mark, 10% of the maximum for General and OBC candidates and 5% for SC and ST; the universities do not publish closing ranks. The marks below are derived from that rule in the 2026 information brochure.

The same brochure lets SC and ST candidates with a combined rank under 1,000 take part in B.V.Sc. & A.H. counselling for both payment and normal seats. Seats then go by rank in counselling, so a higher score than the qualifying mark is needed for a seat.
How is the UPCATET MBA (Agri-Business) result prepared?
MBA candidates who clear the written test with the cut off marks are called by the universities for a group discussion (150 marks) and a personal interview (50 marks). Admission is by a comprehensive merit list, so MBA results come later than the others; in 2026 they followed after the GD and interview.
What happens after the UPCATET 2027 result?
Seats are filled through joint online counselling on upcatetexam.org, followed by offline rounds for vacant seats. In 2026 online counselling ran from July to early September and offline counselling from 19 to 26 September; a special offline round for the remaining seats is being held in October 2026.
- Register for counselling and pay the counselling fee online.
- Fill and lock your choices of university and course.
- Check the seat allotment and upload the documents asked for.
- Pay the university fee and download the provisional allotment letter.
- Report to the allotted university with original documents and a UP domicile certificate for verification.
