Mathematics has 10 units and carries 40 of the 125 questions in the MPCEA paper.

What is the VITEEE 2027 exam pattern and marking?
VITEEE has 125 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours 30 minutes, in English only. Each correct answer gets 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1 mark.

How should I prepare for VITEEE 2027?
- Cover the Class 12 topics in each unit first, then the Class 11 basics they depend on.
- Practise speed: you get 150 minutes for 125 questions, so about 70 seconds a question.
- Avoid blind guessing. A wrong answer costs 1 mark, so leave a question when you cannot narrow down the options.
- Do not skip Aptitude and English. Together they carry 15 questions and need little preparation time.

Has VIT released the VITEEE 2027 syllabus?
Not yet. Until VIT publishes it, use the official VITEEE 2026 syllabus on this page. The syllabus usually changes little from year to year.
Is the VITEEE syllabus the same as JEE Main?
It is similar Class 11 and 12 level content, but VITEEE also has Aptitude and English sections, and some units, such as discrete mathematics, are framed differently.
Can a PCB student take VITEEE?
Yes. PCB students take the BPCEA paper with Biology instead of Mathematics, but they are eligible only for a few biology-linked B.Tech programmes.
