Mathematics has 10 units and carries 40 of the 100 questions in the MPCEA paper.

English has 5 questions on comprehension of a short passage or lines of a poem, grammar and pronunciation, at the higher secondary level. Aptitude has 5 questions from these topics:

What is the VITEEE 2027 exam pattern and marking?
VITEEE 2027 has 100 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours, in English only. Each correct answer gets 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1 mark.

How should I prepare for VITEEE 2027?
- Cover the Class 12 topics in each unit first, then the Class 11 basics they depend on.
- Practise speed: you get 120 minutes for 100 questions, so about 72 seconds a question.
- Avoid blind guessing. A wrong answer costs 1 mark, so leave a question when you cannot narrow down the options.
- Do not skip Aptitude and English. Together they carry 10 questions and need little preparation time.

Is the VITEEE syllabus the same as JEE Main?
It is similar Class 11 and 12 level content, but VITEEE also has Aptitude and English sections, and some units, such as discrete mathematics, are framed differently.
Can a PCB student take VITEEE?
Yes. PCB students take the BPCEA paper with Biology instead of Mathematics, but they are eligible only for a few biology-linked B.Tech programmes.
