How the VITEEE Paper Changed
- Earlier pattern: 125 questions (Mathematics or Biology 40, Physics 35, Chemistry 35, Aptitude 10, English 5).
- Now: 100 questions in 2 hours (Mathematics or Biology 40, Physics 25, Chemistry 25, Aptitude 5, English 5). Older practice sets have more Physics, Chemistry and Aptitude questions than the current paper.
How to Use VITEEE Practice Papers?
- Pause each video before the solution. Try every question yourself first, then watch the working. This turns each video into a practice set.
- Guess only after ruling out a choice. With +4 and −1, a blind guess among four options averages +0.25 marks, and ruling out one option raises that to about +0.67. Marking a question for review without answering it scores 0.
- Give Mathematics or Biology the most time. It is the largest section, with 40 of the 100 questions. With 120 minutes for 100 questions you have 72 seconds a question, so use the sample paper to find your pace.
- Book your slot early. Applications are open until 31 March 2027, and you choose your test city, date and slot online. With about six months to the test, take one full timed paper every two weeks.

Does VIT release VITEEE previous year question papers?
No. VIT does not publish official past papers. This page has free practice videos by subject and a link to the VITEEE 2027 sample paper with answer key.
How many questions are there in VITEEE?
100 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours: 40 in Mathematics or Biology, 25 each in Physics and Chemistry, and 5 each in Aptitude and English. Earlier VITEEE papers had 125 questions.
Is there negative marking in VITEEE?
Yes. Each correct answer gets 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1 mark. Unanswered questions and questions marked for review get 0.
What subjects are in the VITEEE paper?
MPCEA candidates take Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English; BPCEA candidates take Biology in place of Mathematics.
Is VITEEE held in Hindi?
No. The test is in English only.
