How to Apply for BRAOU B.Ed 2027
You apply online only, on the BRAOU portal braouonline.in; no printed form is sent to the university. In 2026 the form was open from 5 to 24 July, with a late fee of Rs 500 until 26 July.
Apply Online for BRAOU B.Ed 2027
Applications for BRAOU B.Ed 2027 are expected in July 2027.
- Open braouonline.in and go to the B.Ed. (ODL) entrance test registration link.
- Read the instructions and the model online application form.
- Fill in the form using your certificates: SSC or birth certificate, degree or PG memos, caste, EWS or special category certificates if any, and your service certificate.
- Upload a recent passport-size photo with signature in JPEG format under 60 KB.
- Pay the registration fee online. Registration is complete only after the fee is paid.
- Print the application form and fee receipt. You must show them at admission counselling.

Who can apply for BRAOU B.Ed 2027?
You can apply if you are a trained teacher with a qualifying degree. These are the rules from the 2026-27 notice:
- Indian citizen, aged at least 21 years on 1 July of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.
- B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.C.A., B.Sc. (Home Science), BBM, BBA, B.E. or B.Tech. with at least 50% marks; 40% for SC, ST, BC and PWD candidates.
- If your degree marks fall short, PG marks are considered, provided you studied the relevant subject at PG level.
- B.E. or B.Tech. graduates need Science or Mathematics as a subject. B.C.A. graduates need the relevant group subjects in Intermediate to choose a method subject.
- You must be a trained in-service teacher in elementary education, or have completed an NCTE-recognised teacher education programme in regular (face-to-face) mode. A service certificate countersigned by the MEO or Deputy DEO is checked at counselling.
- Not eligible: holders of professional degrees such as MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, LLB or B.Sc. (Ag), pre-primary teacher training (ECE, PSE, PPTTC) diploma holders, and those who did teacher training through distance mode.
- Seats follow Telangana local and unreserved rules: 85% for local candidates and 15% unreserved.
What is the BRAOU B.Ed 2027 exam pattern?
The test is a computer-based paper of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks. In 2026 it ran for two hours, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Questions are in Telugu, except the English section.

You need at least 35 marks to qualify, except SC and ST candidates, who have no qualifying mark for ranking. The BRAOU B.Ed 2027 syllabus lists the topics in each part.
How are BRAOU B.Ed seats allotted?
Seats are allotted by entrance rank through web counselling on BRAOU’s counselling portal. You register, upload certificates, choose programme centres and then report to BRAOU in Hyderabad for verification and fee payment.
There are 500 seats across 10 programme centres in Telangana, with at most 50 per centre. Seats are split by method subject: Social Sciences 35%, Mathematics 25%, Biological Sciences 25% and Physical Sciences 15%.
