The CLAT 2027 result gives your marks out of 120, All India Rank and category rank, and decides your place in NLU counselling. The Consortium of NLUs is expected to declare it in December 2026 on consortiumofnlus.ac.in, after the final answer key. In 2026 the result came nine days after the exam.

How to Check the CLAT 2027 Result
- Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2027 after the result is announced.
- Log in with your registered mobile number and password.
- Open the result or scorecard link on your dashboard.
- Check your marks, All India Rank and category rank.
- Download and print the scorecard. You will need it for counselling and admission.
What will the CLAT 2027 scorecard show?

How is the CLAT 2027 merit list prepared?
The Consortium ranks candidates by their total marks in the final answer key. If two or more candidates have the same marks, the tie is broken in this order:
- Higher marks in the Legal Reasoning (legal aptitude) section
- Higher age
- Computerised draw of lots
A seat offer through CLAT 2027 is provisional and does not by itself give a right to admission.
What is the expected CLAT 2027 cut off?
The latest reference is the CLAT 2026 first allotment list of 7 January 2026. These are general category UG closing ranks, as reported by Careers360; ranks moved further down in later rounds.

Closing ranks for reserved and domicile categories are much lower and vary by NLU.
What happens after the CLAT 2027 result?
After the result, the Consortium runs centralised counselling for seats at the participating NLUs. It says counselling will be held in December 2026 or January 2027.
- Register for counselling and pay the counselling fee. In the 2026 round it was Rs 30,000 for general and Rs 20,000 for reserved categories.
- List your NLU preferences.
- Seats are allotted in rounds by rank, category, domicile and preference.
- After each allotment choose freeze, float or exit within the deadline.
- Keep your category, domicile and qualifying exam documents ready for admission at the allotted NLU.
