CSEET (Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test) is ICSI’s entry test for the CS Executive Programme, held in February, June and October. The October 2026 session was held in the first week of October, with the result due by November 2026. Registration for the February 2027 session, with papers on 1 to 4 February 2027, is open till 31 October 2026.

How to Apply for CSEET February 2027
You register once for CSEET on ICSI’s SMASH portal and then enrol for the session you will write. Registration for the February 2027 session is open from 1 July to 31 October 2026. Under ICSI’s standing schedule, registrations made from 1 November 2026 to 28 February 2027 go to the June 2027 session.
Apply Online for CSEET 2026
The CSEET 2026 application window (1 March to 30 June 2026) has closed. Registration for the February 2027 CSEET closes on 31 October 2026; exam enrolment then runs 16 November to 15 December 2026.
- Open the CSEET registration page on ICSI’s SMASH portal and read the instructions.
- Keep soft copies ready: photo (20 to 50 KB), signature (10 to 20 KB), Class 10 certificate as date-of-birth proof, Class 12 marksheet or admit card, category certificate (if any) and a photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN or passport.
- Fill in the registration form and upload the documents in jpg, png or pdf format, up to 2 MB each.
- Pay the registration fee of Rs 7,500 online and save the receipt.
- Enrol for the February 2027 exam and pay the Rs 1,500 exam fee from 16 November to 15 December 2026, or with a Rs 250 late fee from 16 to 20 December 2026.

Fees are not refunded, except a double payment. Your CSEET registration stays valid for three years from the month of registration, so you can enrol for a later session without registering again.
Who can apply for CSEET?
Only Indian nationals can register, and you must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent exam.
- Class 10 pass students can register provisionally. They are allowed to sit CSEET once they submit their Class 12 admit card or marksheet.
- Undergraduate students can also register for CSEET.
Some students are exempt from CSEET and can register directly for the CS Executive Programme:
- CS Foundation pass students
- Graduates and postgraduates
- CA Intermediate pass and CMA Final pass students
- Students in the final year or final semester of a three-year UG programme (provisional registration)
- Students who have passed, or are appearing in (provisional), the 6th semester of a five-year integrated programme
What is the CSEET exam pattern?
CSEET has four papers of 100 marks each, one paper a day, written with pen and paper at ICSI exam centres.

- Each paper begins with 15 minutes of reading time. In February 2027 this runs from 2:00 to 2:15 PM.
- There is no negative marking in the OMR paper (714).
- In the October 2026 papers, each subjective paper had 8 questions, with Question 1 compulsory.
To pass, you need at least 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate in one sitting. The CSEET result page explains the marks statement and what to do next.
