What is the CSEET entrance exam?
The CSEET stands for Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test. ICSI conducts this national-level entrance exam as the gateway to the CS Executive Programme. From the June 2026 session onwards, ICSI holds CSEET three times a year (January, June, and October) in offline, centre-based (pen and paper) mode under the restructured pattern. CSEET 2026 Registration and Application Form
ICSI processes CSEET registrations online at the smash.icsi.edu portal and allots candidates to the next available session. The June 2026 registration closed on 28 February 2026, and the October 2026 registration closed on 30 June 2026. The next registration cycle is for the February 2027 session, with the last date being 31 October 2026. The registration fee is Rs 7,500 (valid for three years) and the enrollment fee per session is Rs 1,500.
CSEET October 2026 Enrollment Link — Enrollment for the October 2026 session (no late fee) is open from 16 July to 15 August 2026, and with late fee from 16 to 20 August 2026, at smash.icsi.edu.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board.
- Minimum age is 17 years; there is no upper age limit.
- Only Indian nationals residing in India are eligible; NRIs and foreign nationals are not eligible.
- Candidates who passed the CS Foundation Programme, or who are members of ICAI or ICMAI, are exempted from CSEET.
CSEET 2026 Exam Pattern
Under the restructured pattern applicable from June 2026, CSEET is conducted in offline (pen and paper), centre-based mode across four consecutive days with one paper per day.

CSEET 2026 Admit Card
ICSI released the June 2026 admit card before the exam, and candidates downloaded it using their 17-digit unique ID and date of birth.
