GAT is an entrance examination called as GITAM Admission Test which is conducted by the GITAM university. It gives admission to various UG and PG courses. GITAM University offers engineering as undergraduate courses and ME (mechanical engineering), Computer science, VLSI design etc as postgraduate courses in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam campuses. It is a national level examination.
GITAM GAT 2018 entrance examination notification will probably be released in the month of March. Interested candidates will be able to fill the application form from its official website at www.gitam.edu The entrance examination shall commence in the month of April 2018 GITAM conducts three entrance examination as GAT (UGTP), GAT(PGT) and GAT (PGP). Application Form for GITAM Admission Test 2018
The registration for GAT will probably be start in the 4th week of March 2018 through online procedure for all the entrance examination (UGTP, PGT, PGP). Candidates will be able to apply for the examination from official website at www.gitam.edu Application fees details for GITAM GAT 2018 are given below:
- Application fee for the male candidates in all categories is Rs. 1000
- Appication fee for the female candidates in all categories is Rs. 600
How to apply Online?
Candidates who wish to apply online should visit the official website at www.gitam.edu and fill up the application form with the important details that are asked. Application fee can be paid through Debit/ Credit card (master/ visa).
How to apply Offline?
[Expected details, official data not available yet] Candidates who do not have access to the internet can opt for offline application form. For this candidate must send a request on plain paper, giving the necessary details such as name of the candidate with complete mailing address along with a DD (demand draft) of Rs. 150. Request for offline application form will be accepted prior to the availability of online application forms. After the completion of this procedure, Application forms will be send by post to the candidate address.
Candidate will be able to fill the form and after filling, it should be send through post to official address with the demand draft of the application fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 600 for females) before the submission of last date of application form.
Admit Card for GITAM GAT 2018
Candidate who apply for the examination will be able to download the hall ticket (admit card) from the official website at www.gitam.edu The admit cards will probably be release in the month of April 2018. Candidates should note that admit cards will only be available after the completion of the slot booking process. This is because admit card shall contain the details regarding Centre, Date and Time of the examination which was earlier filed by the candidate while booking the slot. No admit card shall be send through posts. Candidates must carry the admit card along with the identification proof (Aadhar card/Voter ID card/ passport) with one passport size photograph at the time of examination.
Eligibility Criteria for GAT (UGTP) undergraduate courses
To be eligible for the examination candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the applied course. Eligibility for UGPT is as follows:
- Candidate should have obtained minimum 60% aggregate (50%aggregate for B.Arch and B.pharm) in mathematics, Physics and chemistry with the first class grades in state board (CBSE)
- Candidates seeking to get admission in B.Arch programmes, must have qualified NATA/ JEE main.
- Candidates having 60% aggregate in 10+2 exams with physics, biology and chemistry as main subjects for B.Tech. Biotechnology and B.Pharmacy
Eligibility Criteria for GAT (PGT) M.Tech courses
Candidate should have passed in the following examination with 60% pass percentage or equivalent grade and marks obtained in the GAT (PGT) 2018. For the details of qualified examination (eligibility) candidate can look up to the official website of GITAM at www.gitam.edu
Eligibility Criteria for GAT (PGP) M.Pharm. Courses
Candidate must have passed in pass course of B.pharm. With minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised university or institution or equivalent marks and score obtained in GAT(PGP) 2018.

Result of GITAM GAT 2018
The result of the entrance examination will probably be announced in the month of May 2018. Admission of the candidate will be based on the marks obtained in GAT. A candidate must qualify the examination with the minimum qualifying marks to get admission in GITAM University. Applicants shall be able to view their result from GITAM official website at www.cbexams.com Candidates have to enter their hall ticket number and Date of Birth to review their results.
