How to Check the HP PAT 2027 Result
- Go to hptechboard.com and open the Result PAT-2027 link when it is posted.
- Open the result gazette PDF.
- Search for your roll number (Ctrl+F) to find your marks out of 600.
- Download and save the PDF, or download your result card from the website, for counselling.
Results are not sent by post. In 2026 the result was declared on 15 June, eight days after the 7 June test.
What does the HP PAT result show?
The result gazette lists each candidate in roll number order with marks; it does not print ranks. Your merit position comes from your marks, and among equal marks the older candidate is placed higher.
What is the expected HP PAT 2027 cut off?
HP PAT has qualifying marks rather than published closing ranks. These are the 2026 figures (official prospectus and result gazette) and are the best guide for 2027.

The counts are AglaSem’s tally of the official PAT-2026 result gazette. Qualifying only makes you eligible for counselling; the seat you get depends on your marks, category and choices.
What happens after the HP PAT result?
After the result, qualified candidates log in to the same portal, update their Class 10 marks and fill institute and course choices for the online counselling.
- Round 1: fill choices (16 to 27 June in 2026) and get an allotment (2 July in 2026).
- Report to the allotted polytechnic with original documents by the given date.
- Rounds 2 and 3: revise choices for vacant seats; candidates without PAT or below the qualifying marks can also apply from round 2.
- Spot rounds: a centralised spot round at Govt. Polytechnic Sundernagar and then institute-level rounds for seats still vacant.
Admitted students are registered with HPTSB through their polytechnic within one month of the last counselling date.
