The AP ICET 2027 preliminary answer key is expected in May 2027, a few days after the exam, as master question papers with the correct options marked. In 2026 the key came out on 6 May, four days after the 2 May exam, and objections cost Rs 300 per question.

How to Download the AP ICET 2027 Answer Key

The preliminary key is free to download from the official website; no login is needed for the master papers.

1. Open the official papers and keys page or click Master Question Papers with Preliminary Keys on the AP ICET home page.
2. Open the PDF for your session: Shift 1 (forenoon) or Shift 2 (afternoon).
3. The correct option for each question is marked with a green tick in the master paper.
4. To see your own answers, open Response Sheets on the home page and enter your registration number and AP ICET hall ticket number.
5. Compare your responses with the key to estimate your score.

How do I raise an objection to the AP ICET answer key?

You object online through My Objections on the official website during the window given in the schedule. In 2026 objections closed at 4:00 PM on 8 May.

1. Click My Objections on the AP ICET home page.
2. Enter your registration number, AP ICET hall ticket number and mobile number.
3. Select the question you want to challenge and submit your objection as the page directs.
4. Pay Rs 300 for each objection. Know Your Objection Payment Status shows whether the payment went through.

The fee is refunded only if the objection is found valid. The expert committee’s decision is final, and no further correspondence is entertained.

How do I calculate my AP ICET score?

Your raw score is simply the number of correct answers, because each carries one mark and wrong answers lose nothing.

Your raw marks are then normalised, because the two sessions have different papers. The formula adjusts your marks using the average plus standard deviation, and the average of the top 0.1% of candidates, in your session and across both sessions. So your final marks can be slightly higher or lower than your raw count. You need 25% (50 out of 200) to get a rank, except SC and ST candidates.

The official master papers are the best way to see the key format. The AP ICET previous year papers for 2020 to 2026 come with the correct options marked, and 2019 has separate keys for both sessions.
