Section A – Analytical Ability
Data Sufficiency questions
In the questions numbers 1 to 20, a question is followed by data in the form of two statements labelled as I and II. You must decide whether the data given in the statements are sufficient to answer the questions. Using the data make an appropriate choice from (1) to (4) as per the following guidelines.
(a) Mark choice (1) if the statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question.
(b) Mark choice (2) if the statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question.
(c) Mark choice (3) if both the statements I and II are sufficient to answer the question but neither statement alone is sufficient.
(d) Mark choice (4) if both the statements I and II together are not sufficient to answer the question and additional data is required.

In each of the questions numbered 21 to 30 a sequence of numbers and letters that follow a definite pattern is given. Each question has a blank space. This blank space is to be filled by the correct answer from one of the four options to complete the sequence without breaking the pattern.
