How to Download the JKCET Answer Key 2027
- Go to jkbopee.gov.in on the evening of the test day and open the Notice Board.
- Open the answer key of different series for the CET of B.E./B.Tech Engineering Courses 2027.
- Find the column for your question booklet series (A, B, C or D in 2026).
- Compare it with your candidate’s copy of the OMR sheet.
In 2026 the key was due around 6:00 PM on 19 April, the test day, or by 2:00 PM the next day, and stayed online until 5:00 PM on 22 April. It is removed after that, so save a copy.
How to Raise an Objection to the JKCET Answer Key
You can challenge an answer by sending a written representation with proof from standard textbooks within the three-day window. These are the 2026 rules:
- Get the representation format from jkbopee.gov.in or the BOPEE office.
- Fill in the question and your proposed answer, and attach documentary proof from a standard textbook.
- Pay the Rs 1,000 fee by debit, credit or ATM card through the POS machine at the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar.
- Make sure the representation reaches the BOPEE office in Srinagar or Jammu before the deadline (5:00 PM on 22 April in 2026).
Experts review all representations and their decision is final. If needed, J&K BOPEE uploads a revised key, and no representation is accepted against the revised key. The final key decides the JKCET merit list.
How to Calculate Your JKCET Score
Use your candidate’s copy of the OMR sheet and the key for your booklet series.
- Correct answer: +1 mark
- Wrong answer: minus 0.25 mark
- Question left blank: 0
Score = (number correct) minus 0.25 times (number wrong). For example, 120 correct and 40 wrong gives 120 minus 10 = 110 out of 180.
