The JKCET result 2027 will be a provisional merit list that J&K BOPEE publishes as a PDF on jkbopee.gov.in, with each candidate’s score out of 180 and rank. It is expected in April or May 2027; the 2026 list came on 6 May and the 2025 list on 24 April. Your rank decides your turn in counselling.

How to Check the JKCET Result 2027
- Go to jkbopee.gov.in and open the Notifications section.
- Open the Provisional Merit List/Result notification for B.E./B.Tech Courses 2027.
- Open Annexure-A, the merit list PDF.
- Search the PDF for your roll number or application number.
- Note your score and rank and save the PDF for counselling.
What does the JKCET merit list show?
J&K BOPEE does not issue individual scorecards. The result is one merit list of all candidates ranked by score, with the columns shown below. The 2026 list ranked 1,263 candidates.
Ties are broken by the rules in the e-Information Brochure. Careers360 reported the 2026 order as Mathematics marks, then Physics, then Chemistry, then the older candidate.
What if there is a mistake in your JKCET result?
You can ask for re-totalling within three days of the result by submitting a written representation with a Rs 1,000 receipt, paid through the POS machine at the BOPEE office in Srinagar or Jammu.
To correct your name, parentage, date of birth, category certificate or gender, go in person to the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar within five days of the result. A category you did not claim in the online form cannot be added later.
What is the expected JKCET 2027 cut off?
J&K BOPEE does not publish a separate cut off, so the last open merit (OM) ranks given seats in the 2026 Round 1 selection list are the best guide for 2027 (2026, official selection list Notification No. 072-BOPEE).

Each of these branches had 23 OM seats, all filled in Round 1. Other GCET Ganderbal branches still had OM seats left after Round 1, and the private colleges allotted seats down to rank 1,244 (MIET Jammu, Computer Science). Reserved category seats close at lower ranks, and later rounds go further down the list.
How does JKCET counselling work?
Counselling is online and runs in rounds after the merit list. In 2026 Round 1 preferences were open from 25 to 28 May, followed by Round 2, a mop-up round, fresh applications and offline stray rounds up to September.
- Log in at jkbopee.gov.in and submit your college and branch preferences when the round opens.
- Pay the Rs 1,000 counselling fee online and print the page showing the payment.
- Check the provisional selection list for your allotted college.
- Report to the college with your original certificates within the joining dates (1 to 4 June for Round 1 in 2026).
Which documents are needed at admission?
- Domicile certificate of J&K or Ladakh
- Class 10 marks card
- Class 12 marks card or diploma
- Qualifying marks certificate or degree
- Reserved category certificate, if any, not issued after the last date of the application form
