A candidate domiciled in J&K or Laddakh can fill the form provided that they must have passed/appearing for 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as a subject and 45% of aggregate marks. JKCET Application Fee is INR 1200, submitted online, and candidates would need to upload their Domicile Certificates, 12th Certificates (if available), Photo, Signature, Category Certificate, etc. (see details in article) to fill the form. How to fill the JKCET 2022 Application Form?
In order to fill the JKCET 2022 Application Form, candidates have to follow the below easy steps to complete the application process:
- Firstly visit the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, which is jkbopee.gov.in or click on the above direct link.

- Next, look for the “Apply online link for JKCET 2022” and click to proceed further.
- After that, Read the instructions and press the “click here to fill application” button.

- Now, Fill the JKCET 2022 application form and submit details.
- In this step, candidates need to pay the application fee by entering following details as shown below image.

- There after, candidate need to upload the documents for completing application process.
- At last, take a print out of JKCET 2022 application form for future reference.
Note: The details filled in the JKCET 2022 application form can only be changed before its final submission. No form corrections will be allowed later.

Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph , Signature and Thumb Impression
While filling the JKCET 2022 Application Form, candidate are required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph , signature and Thumb Impression as per the specifications given below:
Photograph Image:
- Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.
- Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
- Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
- If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows
- If you have to use flash, ensure there’s no “red-eye”
- If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
- Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
- Allowed Photo Size – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm
- Size of file should be between 10 KB-50 KB
- Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50 KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.
Signature Image:
- The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink/jel pen.
- The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
- The signature will be used to put on the Hall Ticket, attendance sheet and wherever necessary.
- If the Applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Hall Ticket, the applicant will be disqualified.
- Dimensions 3.5 cm x 1.5cm (preferred)
- Size of file should be between ( 10KB – 50KB)
- Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB
Left Thumb Impression Image:
- The applicant has to put his Left Thumb Impression(LTI) on white paper with Blue/Black Stamp Pad.
- The LTI must be given only by the applicant and not by any other person
- The LTI will be used to put on the Hall Ticket, attendance sheet and wherever necessary
- . If the Applicant’s LTI on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the LTI on the Hall Ticket, the applicant will be disqualified.

- Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB

JKCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The following is the JKCET 2022 eligibility criteria:
The candidates must-
- have domicile certificate of Jammu and Kashmir (or ST certificate of Ladakh union territory to prove domicile of Ladakh).
- have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. class 12th/10+2/equivalent from a recognised board by the time of UG admission.
- have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects in class 10+2.
- have scored at least 45% for open merit categories and 40% for reserved categories in Class 10+2.
Note: The TFW, CDP , children of para-military and UT police personnel, and sports quota candidates need to follow eligibility criteria of open merit category.

After successful submission of JKCET 2022 application form, the candidates must make sure to check application form status regularly. It shows whether the submitted form is accepted by BOPEE or not. The JKCET 2022 application form status can be checked online after submission using the steps given below:
- Step 1: Visit jkbopee.gov.in
- Step 2: Scroll down the home page and select the “Click to apply” option on CET Engineering section under Online Applications.
- Step 3: Scroll down the new window that opens and click on “Check Application Status”
- Step 4: Fill in the details asked on the page that appears as shown below.

- Step 5: Click on submit and the application status will appear on the screen. Complete the form if any steps are shown to be remaining.
Note: If any JKCET application form status is not confirmed even after form completion and fee payment, the candidates must report in the BOPEE office before the last date. Otherwise, the JKCET application form will be rejected.

JKCET 2022 Admit Card
BOPEE will only release JKCET 2022 admit cards on the official website jkbopee.gov.in based on the successful application form submission. JKCET 2022 Admit Cards are expected to release around 10 days before the exam date The candidates have to print and preserve their coloured admit cards until the admission process is complete.
