KAIET 2027-28 is the online entrance test of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (formerly KIMSDU), Karad, for B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, B.Pharmacy, Pharm.D and allied B.Sc. courses. It replaces what was called the KIMS Nursing Entrance Exam. It is not notified yet; going by 2026, forms should open in March and the test should be held in June 2027.

How to Apply for KAIET 2027
You apply online only, through the UG application form on kvv.edu.in. The 2027-28 form is not open yet; in 2026 it was available from 23 March to 2:00 PM on 15 June.
Apply Online for KAIET 2027
Applications for KAIET 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Open the KVV UG admissions page on kvv.edu.in.
- Enter your name as in your Class 12 certificate, date of birth, category, address, email ID and mobile number. The test link and login are later sent to this mobile number and email.
- Upload your photo and signature.
- Fill in your Class 10 and Class 12 details and marks. If your Class 12 result is not out, enter 0.
- Choose your entrance subject group (PCB, PCM or PCMB) and your programme preferences in order. Your first preference is used for the first merit list.
- Accept the declarations, click Submit and pay the Rs 500 form fee in the payment window that opens.

Who can apply for KAIET 2027?
You need Class 12 (HSC or equivalent) in the right subjects with the minimum marks below, and you must be 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year. These are the 2026-27 rules; the 2027-28 brochure may update them.

For every programme you must also score at least 50% in the KAIET entrance test. The 2026-27 eligibility rules list only this test for these courses, not NEET-UG.
What is the KAIET 2027 exam pattern?
The 2027 pattern is not announced yet. In 2026 KAIET was one 75-minute online test of 100 multiple-choice questions, with no negative marking.

B.Sc. Nursing, BPT and the allied B.Sc. courses use the PCB/PCMB paper. All questions are compulsory, and once you click Submit you cannot go back.
How does the KAIET online proctored test work?
KAIET is taken from home on your own mobile, laptop, computer or tablet with a camera and a good internet connection. There is no exam centre and no printed admit card.
- Your username (seat number) and password are sent by SMS or email to the contact details in your form. In 2026 they came on 16 June, after 11:00 AM.
- A mock test is held before the real one. In 2026 it ran on 16 June from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
- On test day the link is sent a few minutes before the start and is activated at 11:00 AM.
- The test is proctored through your camera, so sit alone in a well-lit room for the full 75 minutes.
Which courses can you join through KAIET 2027?
KAIET fills UG seats at the constituent institutes of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth on its Karad campus in Maharashtra. The 2026-27 test covered:
- B.Sc. Nursing at Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences
- BPT (Physiotherapy) at Krishna College of Physiotherapy
- B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D at Krishna Institute of Pharmacy
- B.Sc. Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Perfusion Technology, Cardiac Care and Neuro Laboratory Technology
KVV is the same university that was earlier known as Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Deemed to be University (KIMSDU). It is not linked to KIMS hospitals or colleges in other states.
How are KAIET 2027 seats allotted?
Seats are allotted at in-person counselling in Karad by merit number, programme by programme. You get your merit number on kvv.edu.in using your registered mobile number; see the KAIET 2027 result page for the steps.
Your first programme preference is used for the first merit list, and second and third preferences only if seats remain. In 2026 B.Sc. Nursing counselling was held on 22 and 23 July for merit numbers 1 to 150, and unfilled seats went to a vacancy round that closed on 16 August.
