MAH MCA CET 2020 Merit List – State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the MAH MCA CET provisional merit list on the official website, mahacet.org. The provisional merit list of MCA CET contains the name and rank of all the candidates who appeared for the exam whereas the final merit list contains the names and ranks of the shortlisted candidates for CAP. After the release of the merit list, selected candidates have to register themselves for counseling through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). MAH MCA CET 2020 Merit List
Candidates who qualify the exam get admission in first and direct second year full time post-graduate course of Master in Computer Applications. Check the MAH MCA CET 2020 merit list schedule from below.

Display of Provisional Merit List
All the candidates who have filled the application form along with the application fees through CAP shall be allotted a merit number on the basis of their marks secured in MCA CET 2020. however, if there occurs a tie for the same, it shall be resolved by using the following methods:-
- A higher percentage of marks in HSC
- A higher percentage of marks in SSC
- Higher marks in Science subject in SSC
- Higher marks in Mathematics subject in SSC
- Higher marks in English in SSC
Candidates aspiring for admission under CAP seats shall first register and get their Documents Verified at designated Facilitation Center.
Submission of Grievance Form
The candidates can fill up the grievance form may be starting from 1st week of Jun 2019. Please note that this is the only time frame within which the grievance shall be submitted. However, the dates may be extended as per authority decision. If there is no notice, the same schedule is treated as final. The institute will activate a link which shall contain the prescribed format using which the grievance form has to be submitted. The same may require some amount of money to be submitted as well. We will update you if the number of details is asked.
Display of the Final Merit Lists
Candidates who have secured their seat after the 1st merit list, DTE shall publish the final merit list after the grievance redressal has been resolved and the remaining seats are calculated for those who are waiting for admission. The final list will contain the names of the candidates who are eligible to take admission. These candidates must report at their desired college and secure a seat.
Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
CAP is meant for admission in Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution. For admission in the private institutes, the aspiring candidates shall register their name on the official website only. The system will then generate a unique Application ID for the candidate. Using this unique application ID, the candidate shall fill in the Online Application Form for admission through their login. The required fees shall be submitted using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. After appearing in CET, Candidates will then undergo document verification at designated FC where the in-charge official shall compare the original documents and then the provisional merit list will be displayed.
Note: The merit list gives the relative position of the candidate and it does not guarantee admission to any course.
The authority will publish the details of the institutes and courses offered in them, sanctioned intake and number of seats available for each category before each round. Candidates may fill minimum 1 and maximum 300 choices of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order. Option Form once exercised through their login shall be considered for final allotment in CAP Round I. there shall be maximum 3 rounds of counselling.
About MAH MCA CET 2020
Maharastra MCA CET is conducted for admission in first year/direct second year in Master of Computer Application in Government/Self-financed/Government affiliated and private colleges in the state of Maharastra. The exam is held online at state level every year. Candidates have to solve 100 MCQ questions of two mark each in 90 minutes. Candidates who qualify the online exam are eligible for counselling. Candidates are allotted seats based on their choice, rank and availability.
About State Common Entrance Test Cell
Government of Maharashtra has established the State Common Entrance Test Cell under Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA). CET CELL conducts the Maharastra CET for admission in numerous courses. Qualifiers of CET are given admission in colleges/institutes which are approved & recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. CET Cell also releases the result and conduct counselling through Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Its role ends after allotting seats to the candidates.
